READ BOTTOM POST

That is the weirdest mod I've ver heard of....but very innovative, so Good work....
|
i swear it works great
|
So lemme get this straight before i do anythin distructive...I just yank out the antenna?
|
Maybe it's the alcohol but i'm not getting this. I'm assuming that's a pic of the controller. A lil more detailed info would be highly appreciated.
|
he's saying cut off the antenna and put a metal square there instead!!!!
|
I'm really sorry, but you are asking alot of the readers here to:
A) Understand your horrible spelling and grammar B) Understand what the heck it is you are trying to say. A "piece of metal"? A lead weight from an automobile's wheel is a piece of metal. So is a wedding ring, or a wing of an airliner. Please be more precise, and people will understand you better. |
yes that would be great if you can post a picture and explain it more clearly...i just dont get it

I’m sorry I was like so messed up last night LOL what I was trying to say is I took a piece of metal out of a bit-g (the piece that holds the battery) then I attached that to the antenna wire and it will go way farther, sorry I shouldn’t of posted last night lol but it does work I did it about a day ago sorry for not having a picture i hope all of you get this
|
It's still kind of hard to follow. Is that a pic of your controller or the car? A little more detail as well please.

My Interpretation
OK, here's what I think Fent is trying to say:
Judging from his drawing... It's supposed to be the back of an opened up Zip controller. The orangy-tan area is the curcuit board, the long grey area, on the left, is the antenna, the darker grey box is the piece of metal and the red is the wire connecting the circuit board and the antenna. To me it looks like he took a flat piece of metal (in this case, a battery connection tab from either a Bit chassis or a Bit controller) and soldered it into his Zip controller, between the telescopic antenna and the controllers circuit board. In other words, a wire leads from the Zip circuit board to the piece of metal, which is then connected to the controllers telescopic antenna with another peice of wire. ("After" pic) I think I got that right. Fent? In any case, I'll have to try it myself to see if it really works... |
i think that i sorta get it
