Most compatible clone?

Before anyone flames me for not buying an original - I live in Canada and have yet to see any genuine TOMY's anywhere. Forget mail order - this close to christmas those customs bastards 'confiscate' everything they can for gifts for their kids.

Anyways, I'm wondering which clone fits TOMY parts. I'd like to get a clone and then soup it up with real TOMY parts, but I know not all clones will fit them. I have a friend with a Leyu Bitchar-A, and another with a TT hongli Bitchar-G. The gears and tires are not interchangeable between these two. I have another friend with a Bensu Thunderbolt (OEM bullet), and the Leyu and Hongli parts won't fit on it either. So which clone will actually fit TOMY parts (not just the motor).

Thanks all, this is an great forum!

Unfortunately, there's no chance those things are going to make it through Canada Customs this close to Christmas. Yes, I do live in a third-world country.

BTW, the website says they won't ship out of the US.

Thanks anyway.

Your best bet is the REAL TOMY's (ofcourse, the parts were made fro them) I have a bullet which the only part i see compatible are the motors front..... wheels........tires......stabalizer.......batterie s. It may take some modification to fit the bodies. MINI MOVERS on the other hand (same as bullet packaging but made from differnt company) is able to have almost everything swapable (with some minor mods) The boys can fit with a bit of work but they can. Hope this help you out.......

Is this for intercontinental packages only, or even ones coming from the US? We ship to Canada frequently and haven't had any problems. Welcome to the Forums!

Anything coming from the outside world (especially the US) into Canada must bear scrutiny by Canada Customs (staffed by people who are too incompetent or too mentally unstable to be cops, prison guards, or Starbucks barristas)

They have an established pecking order on who gets to take confiscated booty home based on seniority. The old guys get the ivory, croc and snakeskin boots, and Tracy Lords movies. The newer guys only get to steal - I mean confiscate lower value toys. They rarely need to do much Christmas shopping.
