Best Engine for my car
 

i bought the rx8 yesterday, and already want more speed..

for now.. is this [JAPAN PERFECTION #1 HIGH TORQUE 3.8 MOTOR toyeast.com] the best engine i could put in without having to put more batterys? and can i take the engine gear off mine and put it on the one i would order?

maybe and yes. if you have an rx8, you have a small chance of having one of the weaker pcbs. look for pics of how to distinguish the two apart here on the forum. many people recomment toddc's 3.4 motor from extrememicros because it is extremely high torque, which would help if you have the old pcb. the best up to date pcb is the 350z, and possibly the new rx7 and supra that just came out with new graphics.

i just checked.. i have the 3rd board. so what is a fast engine i can get?
anyone get this one?

EM-38 Vanquish Rotor

I haven't picked up that motor yet but I do have his 3.5 and I also have a Perfection 3.8. Both are great motors. From my experience so far, the EM 3.5 will outrun the Perfection 3.8. I'm planning on ordering some of the EM 3.8s pretty soon here, you can't beat the $1 shipping!:D
