I was trying to fix my ZZ yesterday and my soldering iron fell off the stand. It burned the carpet making a shape of the metal part into my carpet. It is all hard too. How do I fix this?

uhhhh....get new carpet?:confused:

dude sounds like your havin more probs. than me...your only bet is put something on top of it ..use a trash can :)

Here's a solution for you Zephyranthes. Get some carpet tape and cut a round peice of carpet from a closet then cut the same size peice from damaged area and use the tape under the carpet to make the patch. Move your hand over the carpet so you can make sure it lays the same way and you will never know it was patched. Of course put the damaged peice in the closet and no one will ever know wha you did.

What's carpet tape and where can you get it?

Go to any hardware(Lowe's or Home Depot) or carpet store and just ask for it.

maybe you could sew a patch or something... isn't there a rule stating that you may not curse on this site or something?
