is this stuff any good?

I got some of that yesterday. It's weird. I cant figure out how to make it work. It's this brown stuff with little silver specks in it. I have to try it on something else besides batteries. If you touch it directly with your soldering iron, it burns black and makes your soldering iron black.

I dont think your soposed to use it to soder
I looked at the manal thing and if its that one you heat it up with a lighter and it is used in areas where you normally cant soder

I was looking in my garage the other day and I found an empty bottle of "liquid solder". It was also in a plunger bottle like that stuff from RS, but I'm wondering if it really is solder.

try it on something to check if it's solder.
