If you look around a little, I think you'll notice that Bit's are just a small percentage of Tomy's product line.

Wall Street Journal will explain this better I'm sure, but in short ...BANKRUPTCY is not what most perceive it to be. Meaning that when we think of the term we picture broke. That is not always the case ( even that relates to what TYPE of bankruptcy is being filed). Best example to date is here in California where our main energy provider filed bankruptcy while still maintaining a few billion in assets! That info is still easily available to research. ( Emron, Pac-Bell, etc.) They filed because they were accumulating debt faster than profit basically. Resulting in alot of screwed over companies and employees.
I'm not saying this is the same scenario for Tomy, but most companies that large are basing profits made on the market or lost there. The products we buy are to keep or increase investors more than holding the company afloat. Check out what stocks they own and control and how they are doing for a better idea. |
they also sell baby toys and a zillion other things. thats like sayin walmart is goin out of business because they dont sell enough motorworks.
|
wal-mart's going out of business? oh no!!!!!!!!!
haha only playing. :D :D :D :D |
I was going to say what starion_999 said.
The information of who's filing for bankruptcy has to be made available to the public, so creditors have one last chance to collect their debt. I was looking at the list, and was surprised how many major companies that seemed to be doing well, were actually filing for bankruptcy. I forgot where that list was, I'll ask my wife. |
