i read it i dont want to do it 100% custom is there a kit i could

arch2b 04-23-2003 05:38 PM

tttt parts.org (in the resources thread) sells kits with axels, frame, motors/gearboxes. leaves you to buy truck, electronics, batteries.

lowcrome 04-23-2003 05:44 PM

oh wow

how much is the truck?

arch2b 04-23-2003 05:59 PM

quick answer-less than $10. go through the resources thread and look for one you like from one of the many sites listed. obviously some cost more than others.

lowcrome 04-23-2003 06:36 PM

what is the site www.ttttparts.org?

arch2b 04-23-2003 08:34 PM

please take the time to read through the threads already here...almost everything you need to know is already posted.;)

go HERE for vehicles, parts, electronics, etc...

lowcrome- look forward to see your work!

I can't beleive how far you've come in this hobby arch2b... Very impressive...

I'd have to say that after reading and taking it all in, I think I want to dive into this hobby as well as bits. Has anybody tried to use any bit parts for these? Or is that a dumb question?

I'm thinking that the alloy wheels on my bits would be perfect on these little beauties. I'd like to stay with car or dune buggy body styles, cause trucks don't appeal to me all that much.

I can't wait to get started.

no question is a dumb question

Hi Payaso,

maybee its possible to install the "bit" in a 1:87 scaled car. This way is ok to build a personal car or a small van.

But if your project is a truck, I suggest you to use a proportional radio controler in the car. I think, the bit have only "switch" controler (no power- full power) and the most fun of TTTT is drive slowly on offroad layouts.

The bit motors are not powerfull enough for a truck. A small personal car may be ok.

Thr bit batterys are only for the bit-circuits I think. You need 3,6 or 4,8 Volts to power a small rc-truck in the kind of the TTTT

If You need help to build your first TTTT, just feel free to ask here. I dont know any dump question.

best regards

Thorsten
