k i was soldering some wires that came loose (batt wires) and after everything on my car works except the right turning , i checked the wires and they are perfect and everything is connected... what could this be???

i have had that same problem

take off the cover that has the suspention on it and see if a wire coil that makes the magnet go from side to side came off the side


if it is just glue it back into place.


and if that isnt the case then i dont know whats wrong.

it wasnt what u said, i dont know what it was, plus the battery wires kep coming off and the wire l;eading to the motor came off too so i just said screw it, im gonna get a bare chassis and put the parts on it. :( :( :( :(

Right turning? Aww s-hit, I had the same prob, I found out that one of the hair thin copper wires was separated, if it is separated from the circuit board entirely, and no small wire is sticking out, I'm pretty sure you cant do anything about it, but don't take your car apart just yet, examine it more before you do anything, this was just my case.

depending on how many times you've been in and out of there, you may just have a what looks to be good connections to the pcb, try resoldering all of the steering wires. Pesky work but hey, better than burying the project. clip off the ends of those wires and rescrape the enameled coating just at the end and resolder them to their places on the PCB?

Or I suppose you could set your multimeter (if you have one) to low DC volts and see if you have pow at the L and R PCB terminals then you would know it's your wires. I'm pretty sure that you would place the black meter probe on the GND terminal and the red probe on either the L or R terminal then have a buddy hit your respective turn button on the controller and see if the meter spikes at all? You would have to fully charge your car of course.

Worth a try if you have some free time

Don't kill your car because it won't turn right, just go over to hobby bench and they'll fix the car good as new. I know because my expert repair guy couldn't get my steering going so he went to the Hobby shop aka hobby bench.
