This mod seems strangely familiar to one posted in 'Bit Science' long, long ago. Hmm....

It would be a lot cheaper to buy a 4 band controller. You don't have to do the work, and to do it from scratch, you still need to buy 4 cars which is like 80 bucks. 4 band controller is like 30.

RCmod sells controllers for like $3 each so then it would only be $12, right? well, i thought it was cool and i was going to try it. i wanted to know if anyone had tried yet. if there were any hurdles they faced.

i didn't know there was something in bit science. i will try and search for it.

I'ld rather just buy the 4 band but this is a great mod anyway. I hear the 4 band has some range issues and if modded in a particular way can play celion dion's titanic song;)
(2 reasons why I'm staying away)

thx Sess! the switch on the charger plate is a nice touch.

Like I have said many times over, the only reason I made up the thread in Bit Science is to let people who already have several freq's run them from one Tx. It's kinda pricey to buy all of it just for the mod, but if you have it already, then do it. By the way, I don't think the stock 4 band Tx has the American freq's.

i finally did it! it worked. next time i may buy one though. :D
