you need to open the controller and find the flat metal thing that has a freq on it like 27.010 mhz and unsloder it and solder the new one in its place.

no not the ic chip it looks like a flattened out capacitor. its like a flat oval and it is silver metal color and it says the freq on it. it might not but it will be folded over almost touching the pcb. ok heres a pic its the metal thing at the top of the pic.

sorry i thought it was folded over. ive seen hem folded over on some of them thats why.

dont pay attention to those arrows and circles.
