For my rally track, I used tape, cardboard, paint, sandpaper, glue, model magic, and a cutting board with a straight edge and a razor blade. I think it worked really well. Some of the parts need regluing, but that is easy to do.

My track was really simple. you just need a couple large posters, tape, and construction paper. Make the walls out of the contruction paper and tape it down. Other stuff was added for an offroad course, but isn't needed.

Basically I did the same thing as Zephyranthes. I don't have a pic tho. I made it yesterday out of an old cardboard box (amazing it was so BIG), Glue, Markers, And straws for borders. But stupid as I was the straws were to small and my cars hopped right over them. So I stacked 'em 3 high and BOOM! Perfect Oval Track

You can also get a Penny Racer track for 7 bucks. Bigger than a Microsizer guide rail track, and actually keeps the cars inside. You can also race your Bit Racers and Penny Racers at the same time.

Track materials

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The most versatile, re-usable, easiest building track materials are..... LEGO's.

Jr08bll 04-08-2003 04:11 PM

Yes thats awesome. I wantto make a modular track but I don't have the cash

Zephyranthes 04-08-2003 05:22 PM

What are the dimensions of those squares?

dr1zz 04-08-2003 06:18 PM

12 by 12, we got about 50 or so tiles. its a simple design, 2 pieces...one curve, and one straight. overpasses are not to difficult to add. and its pretty smooth.
