Mini Plane Question

1 Attachment(s)
Since I've already got a motorworks to make my plane, I need to know if this plane design would work. It's basically a ducted fan with wings. The tubes diameter in front will be about 2 inches (or less). I don't have places for the battery or electronics yet, but I can add those later.

Oh yes, but I'm afraid the Russians got there first:

Wow, you are actually going to build that? That's is gonna be really cool when it's done :D Good luck on the plane!

Oh yea, the idea would work, I have seen it alot of times before.

BitPlane

InGaN,
A plane conversion sounds real simple doesn't it? It is .... assuming there is a Radio Shack near to you.Go to this website, www.ezonemag.com to the discussions and look under 'Indoor and micro' .You should see some bitplane stuff.

There is a link (under sticky: bitcharger index) to a site that shows you how to extend your Tx range up to 200' (Bitcharger secrets revealed), and lots of other stuff which is also applicable
to Bit cars.Check it out.

The forum setup is much like this one so browsing shouldn't be a problem.

Cheers.

If this is your first plane, DF might not be the best option........
......anyways, someone made an Antonov 225 from six 3.8 DF motors. The four inboard were powered straight from the batteries, the two outboard were used for Megatech XEC diversion-type steering.I gtg now...I'll get back to you guys on this.
