Looks good to me! Did you lower it too? I noticed that you painted the inside of the rims gold too :D Nice job.

BTW, it's an S2000, not an H2000 :p

Thanx Dude!

H=Honda ! ....... HS2000 ?

xatu 04-04-2003 11:27 PM

Well, it could be a HS2000, but it's easier just to call it an S2000, or an S2K.

DarkTari 04-04-2003 11:45 PM

I like "S2K" Yeah! That's the Ticket!

That's the UGLIEST FREAKIN'...ummm...

Oh, sorry I was looking at my own car. Dude, your painting skills are fantastic. I am impressed with how clean they look. I dig the choice of colors too.

Mucho props!

now that's a nice paint job!:D

xatu 04-05-2003 10:19 AM

Did you airbrush it?

mpbiv 04-05-2003 10:53 AM

Nice work, I think it looks really good :D

I tried painting the clear sport S2000 body too, but mine didn't come out so great. I guess I was just to excited being my first MS. I was trying to paint a flame job with cheap rattle cans I found in the garage. Funny thing is I know better than to rush these things and use cheap paints :p

Nope! Just Testors spray. I want to start to airbrush, I've been looking into them. The only thing that I'm not too cool with is the clean-up. With the can spray, wipe it off, put the cap back on and you're done. The spray gun you need to take it apart, soak/clean the pieces. I'm quite sure there are those that just puts a cleaner (mineral spirits, thinner, etc) in the bottle and spray it thru but that won't get it as good as disassembly. (veterans correct me if I'm wrong). So as for right now, the Can is good enough for me.

xatu 04-05-2003 12:20 PM

Yes, the can is an easier clean up, but the airbrush looks better, and you can get a nice shiny coat of paint.

rt450 04-05-2003 12:28 PM

if i could paint that good with a spray can i wouldn't even care about an airbrush!;)

xatu 04-05-2003 02:46 PM

Oh yea, for sure, and you must have had to do some precision cutting to cut the tape to fit perfectly over all the lights, and windows.... I don't see one smudge of paint on any light, window, or anything.... Besides the body :p
