Hi @ all,

For my Menck I need an old dumper so I build this one.

Its a nice toy to move sand

to maximize the fun, I can change the platform in a cran (also moving)

So I have one heavy truck with maximum fun.

Mostly the parts (gears, electronic, battery,...) are availible at www.1zu87modellbau.de. The reciver is a small spektrum-clone. The model itself is a wiking dumper. The crane platform was taken out of a kibri kit.

Wow, I haven't been here for a while, I am pleased to see this thread. What an amazing model you have there Thorsten! I am speechless by the details and functionality that you have been able to add to the model. As you can imagine, I have a lot of questions and I hope you don't mind answering:
1. How many different functions you have that are controlled by the radio? How many channels and what kind of radio is used?
2. The rear LEDs look slick. Do you have any closeup photos of the assembly? What size LEDs are they?
3. Are both the axles in the rear driven?
4. What features are present on the crane? Do you have any photos showing the details?
5. I like the idea of replaceable platform. How did you manage all the connections, do you have some sort of plug/receptacle?
6. What scale is the model tug shown in one of the photos?
7. I did not see any details about this model on your site. Do you have a build thread anywhere?
Thanks, I hope you don't mind the questions.
