Dremels are MANDATORY!

The second piece of equipment any R/C'er or modeller must buy- 2nd only to an Ex-acto knife set.

I have (2); a newer cordless, and a 20 year old one that is set up in a table-top drill press atachment.

CAntlive without it!!

I remember the days when I didnt have my trusty cordless dremel...and boy did they suck! Every little thing I wanted to chande I had to get out a crappy file or saw it down...

But then one day I realized I was just being dumb trying to live without it...and that was when I bought my trusty dremel over the years I have even developed a liking for the guy and call him dremmy :) :D

i played with one for the first time last night actually. its amazing how easy it is to cut through plastic.

Namuna 12-16-2002 08:28 AM

I've got the variable 10k-35k RPM model and will be getting the Drill Press for xmas.

It's the tool of champions.

ZIZI 12-16-2002 02:49 PM

Namuna: Nice:cool:

Yeah I know my DREMEL is my universal tool...

Azimov 12-17-2002 11:59 PM

Yup, you gotta have a dremel. No two ways about it. I got my first a couple of years back, and got the table top drill press rig on my last birthday. It sure made putting those joysticks in my controllers a snap. I don't have a cordless version...yet.

SteelBluePT 12-18-2002 11:11 PM

I just bought one of the Black and Decker equivalents the other day. Havent used it yet...only paid 19cents for it though, so it was too good a deal to pass up over the dremel brand. I believe it has 4 speed settings....Looking forward to using it

Azimov 12-18-2002 11:18 PM

19 cents?!?! You are correct sir. No way could you pass that up. I'm green with envy over here.:D

ZIZI 12-19-2002 03:02 PM

Whoa!!!

I wish I paid that much for my dremel...;)

Moto freak 12-19-2002 05:11 PM

I originally bought mine for my dirt bike and now I find that I'm useing it for every thing.

SoulflyCRX 12-20-2002 02:33 PM

Dremel is great for just about everything! Especially model cars and RC stuff.

zipzap 12-21-2002 11:33 PM
