Another Pic,

PWalk 03-09-2003 09:21 AM

I will be posting more pics as time goes by,
also I'll include a materials list
and a "how to?" guide so that everyone here can build one.

This was my first ever attempt at one of these things and I have to say I'm impressed. It's not a fast course, but it is challenging.

If your building your own course and need some tips or have a question post them here and I'll try and help ya with yours.

That track is too pimped... Do your cars ever get hung up on it? Like, on little bumps and whatnot?

hyperdriveb 03-16-2003 11:56 AM

Nice work man,I think you did a great job!!

Dougboy 03-16-2003 08:38 PM

now the question is does the car run on that thing? or is it just for show? an overland whould be sweet on it. do u have an overland?

PWalk 03-17-2003 11:06 AM

The cars rarely get hung up, and if they do course rules mandates the following:

"If for whatever reason a driver has to touch their car while racing he is automatically given a 5 second penalty. 10 seconds for the second time, 15 for the third time. The time penalty shall never exceed 15 seconds."

We're serious about racing! LOL

No overland here, but if you feel like contributing or talking trade I'll listen.
Thx for the feedback, more photos to come...

I like those rules, the track looks like a real challenge. I hope one day to create a track like it.

Working on another track so I'll be posting some new ideas soon.

After I get my airbrush and soldering gun and move into my new house(August 1st). I'm gonna start one of these! What did you use for the base? Plywood on a table?
