thx, i can drive up 2 bits and then drive the rig into my tool box. the rig is a dual cell, gonna do another one with dual motors, but this one is pretty fast as it is. it also sounds like a rig kinda, heh.

freakanoid 02-18-2003 03:25 PM

wow

that thing is cool
i dont get how u can put 2 back wheels on that both work(or does only one work)

dr1zz 02-18-2003 03:29 PM

only one axle drives it on this one. the other axle is put on kinda like the slot/wheelie bar thing, 2 screws thru the 2 holes under the motor.

ralliart 02-18-2003 03:36 PM

very very nice....i saw your yellow NSX-R in the back, and how did you make it yellow? paint? or can you buy a yellow nsx-r?
what were your steps for painting it without screwing up the roof?

batesjm 02-18-2003 03:36 PM

Check out ultimaterc.com for info on the bit semi wiring for the dual drive wheels.

Canadian Bit 02-18-2003 05:36 PM

Dr1zz: I have the Enzo Bit Char-G body from the same guy who did your Lamborghini. I think it's the nicest Bit body ever!

dr1zz 02-18-2003 05:39 PM

your rig is nice too

"nice work on your truck though
& put the other axle & motor on it wont be as fast but will have more pull power" [baggy]

baggy, nice rig! my current rig is fast, almost too fast. dual cell with a 2.6 motor flips every now and then. this is my only dual cell that doesnt flip everytime i run it. i have a few 15 second movies of it in action. but i dont know how to attach that stuff.

dr1zz 02-18-2003 05:43 PM

enzo

hey canadian bit, i will have that enzo too. which color did you get, i got the silver one coming in. i seem to be speending sooo much time and money on these little things. my poor mini z is feeling alone and forgotten.

strider_mt2k 02-18-2003 05:47 PM

Woah!

That's just incredible!
You win by sheer numbers when not for cleverness and killertude on the Big Rig!

Super Job!

aeas87 02-18-2003 05:49 PM

wow, that's pretty koo dood!

and...whata rockin lamborghini dood!!!! i luv dat thing man!

my truck has three cells in it & 2x2.2 motors
i had to put on extra cells as it was very slow with only 1 cell
it will still turn over on sharp corners if you don't back off

i don't know how to do video either sorry

ralliart 02-18-2003 06:07 PM

HOLY dr1zz that is the nicest body ever!!!!!! where did you get it? How much did you pay for it? Do any hobbie stores sell it? i think i've seen one on ebay....hmm not sure... is the camelion paint expensive? is there a special way to spray it on?

sorry for so many questions, but that is One Hell of a body!!!!!!!

dr1zz 02-18-2003 06:22 PM

ralliart

i agree with the lambo being a very nice body. i got it on ebay, and the detail on it is outstanding, pictures do no justice to the murcielago body. i prolly paid a total of 30 bucks just for the lambo body but id gladly pay it again if he had anymore. i actually did pay it again cuz his ferrari enzo bodys are nice too.

as for the paint, there are many ways to make it chameleon. id say the easiest way is to get the dupli-color mirage paint from kragen auto stores. it seems to dry the fastest. now if i can only stop spending money on these bits so i could buy a nice airbrush set.

ralliart 02-18-2003 06:37 PM

haha ic...damn i dont know if i would spend 30bux on the body...I personally would, but everyone i know would be like "WHAT THE HELL are you doing spending so much money on a body" .....can you tell me what you searched for on ebay to find those bodies and any other body?

thx

dr1zz 02-18-2003 06:42 PM

yeah

i know 30 bucks for a body is crazy, but bit maddness has taken over meh. what can i say.

FORDMAN 02-18-2003 07:10 PM

baggys truck

baggy can you send or show us a diagram of how you wired your truck motors inline w/ 2 batts.?

baggy 02-18-2003 07:31 PM

truck wires

there was no solder involved with the motors
all i did was
strip about 1 inch of wire bare
lay it on top of first motor & put on heat sink
lay rest of wire on second motor & put on heat sink
( heat sinks hold wire in)
then cut & strip more wire
push 1 end in behind motor connector for front motor
do same for back motor
done dead easy

it has 3 cells in it not 2

ralliart 02-18-2003 07:50 PM

hey dr1zz, where did u get the purple tires? did they come in the bit tire set?

baggy 02-19-2003 08:46 AM

question for drizz

what did the truck start out as ?
how is it put on car ?
i tried to find a flat front truck cos long nose trucks are not so common over here
also is that a mario cart hidding at the side?
i was going to get 2 of them for the kids are they any good ? they look top heavy. do they tip over a lot?

also ralliart
you get red/purple/blue tyres in pack

dr1zz 02-19-2003 11:28 AM

"bit rig" buildup

http://www.hotwheels.com/us/product....tegory_id=7625

hope that link works. but the "bit rig" is a hotwheels. its pretty heavy, but that helps out the front steering out. the wheels of the cab are a good match to the bit wheels. to add the third axle with the trailer attachment, i connected thru the 2 holes under the motor. a paint job will come soon. im thinking optimus prime ;)

to attach, i filed a slot in the front grille like a bit. between the mufflers are the gas cans. i filed out a slot in the cans to hold the cab in place, with the help of a couple extra steering magnets to hold the cab down. it assembles/disassembles pretty easily for storage. ill try to take pics later without the cab on.

the next "bit rig" is going to be a longnose.
and yes i have a mario. they have these extra wheel wheels that go over the regular rims, im pretty sure is to make it look like a cart, but they help keep mario from flipping.

baggy 02-19-2003 12:15 PM

hot wheels pavement pounders

1 Attachment(s)
there's a good choice for you next truck
the 1 with silver cab & red trailor (shogun racing) looks cool
it looks as if a normal bit would fit under it & only front wheel wells to worry about

i have just had quick look for them in uk but nothing yet
(all sellers seem to be in usa) if any 1 has seen them in uk let us know

dr1zz 02-19-2003 12:28 PM

rigs

baggy: if you want that shogun one, i saw it a couple of days ago. we can do a trade or something. and yea the shogun fits bits well. others with the trailers dont fit bits in the back well.

i want this one next http://www.hotwheels.com/us/product....tegory_id=7625

then i can really haul

FORDMAN 02-19-2003 06:00 PM

new truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I am going to build one of those trucks they kick spleen! I'm going to use 2 motorworks rc's because they have lots of power. dual batts. (maybey 3) dual motors. hopefully it will pull like the BORAX mules. also what kind of pulling power do your rigs have? and what did you do to attach the hot wheels flatnose cab? Also sweet job on all the trucks guys hope mine turns out half as well.

Squishy 02-19-2003 06:07 PM

this thing is sweet. the only thing i dont like about it is the childish look of the super deformed cab/trailer. but, even still, its pretty darn sweet!

i really dont have anything to trade but can send money if you have paypal acount
i have bought from usa before & it costs loads more to post than it does to buy it
but if they were reasonably priced & was cheap to post then i would buy from usa more often

FORDMAN 02-20-2003 09:41 PM

trucks k. a.

just completed my truck. made it with 2 motorworks trucks. 2 batts and a motor each for the rear axels. this thing halls like nobodys bussiness!! in fact some may say too fast but I dont belive in that philosophy. it rocks
