lowered
has anyone tried to put bit FRONT wheels on the BACK? I wanna have a lowrider, and was wondering if i could do that, so that i could lower it more. Opinions please!
|
I' done it. Personally, I don't like it. It looks kinda weird and it goes slower because the smaller wheel has a smaller circumference. I like a fullsize wheelset better. If you want a lowered car, I recommend cutting the tabs off and put them lower. It looks like a real lowrider.

Annnnnd, if you put small wheels in the back, it would give it a tad more power. And, it would look real stupid in my eyes.

if you do this take out the sway bar on the front & it makes it look level
|
If you take out that swivel bar, it will affect your steering. I did this to my cars, and it screwed up the steering.
|
i didn't notice any problem with steering
both trucks turned the same but the red 1 was a bit slower |
Yea, I figured it would go a bit slower, and it would prolly have a bit more power.
|
oh. I probaby do a FS wheel mod then, because i want them to be the same. just thought i check and see. thanks!

Lowered.

small wheels... now put some whitewalls on your tires, and slam the that body!! whitewalls would look awesome with black rims.
|
I did both the FS wheelset, and the SS wheelset (small size) And, I like the FS one MUCH better.

whats a swivel bar? the red thing? I can find one in my motorworks, and I dont see springs on what I am guessing are the knuckles.
|
Hey Squishy,
I just bought one of the new Motorworks cars. I was lookig at the front end and it doesn't have a suspension bar. It seems like the steering knuckles have like a little flange on the shaft. You could probably shave off the flange so that the knuckle shaft travels up and down. You could either leave it fully lowered or put some springs in it. |
could you show me in a pic? I dont really get what you mean by flange..
