once again i was atempting to fit lamans duel cell mod in my car and this time the right steering wire SNAPED

i ahve no soldering iron even if i did i wouldnt be able to fix that but now i have a messed up car that cant fit laymans

i give up no more bits for me ive already wasted most of my money on them i dont even have enouighleft for a cheap $3 clone

happens to all my cars when i try to mod the inside.. and i end up resoldering them on with a 30 watt.. call me crazy, it takes like 20 minutes for one wire.. one time on my first bit i got so mad, cuz 2-3 wires came off i ripped out all the wires hahahah i bought a new one.. i usually end up buying a new bit when i get pissed.. *sigh*:rolleyes:

they cost like 7 bucks for like a solding set at RS.. thats cheap.. and at the dollar store i heard u can get like a 15 watt for like 1.20...

U guys, I hope you know that if your car is official microsizer, email Hobbico and they'll send you a free replacement car. Worked for me...

will see, i should expect to get about 60 + chassis from them. told the people on my street to help me out and bam. will tell you what happens next :D

Ok, here's exactly what they do:

1. For the first time you email them, they'll ask you for the FCC ID number off the bottom of your car (this is only on microsizers, not bit char-g).

2. They email you saying that they'll send you a free chasis as a one time only thing.

3. If you break something again, they'll ask you to send the whole thing with a recipt to get it all replaced.

The reason I'm saying that they might find out is because they do have computers. If you tell everyone on your block, they'll notice that something is wrong with that street (you don't usually find 60 broken microsizers on the same steet and day). So be careful if you are going to be a rip off because if you are caught, then you'll have to pay for all of them and pay a fine.

Broken wires are just part of the whole RC thing.
If you aren't prepared to learn what's required, then this probably isn't the hobby for you.

Or you could just run stock machines.

BabyKiller- Get a fuggin job and quit bitching. God you're pathetic. I'm sure plenty of ppl on this board have had many more problems and spent much more money on their bits. So don't complain, especially when you're too cheap to buy the tools you need to fix a simple and common problem.:mad:

i'm not here to cause a disturbance in the force, but i have to agree with skater252000. i personally have spent over $1000 on my bits and have killed a few in the modding process. i don't have money to lose just like the next person, and it's depressing when anything dies (cars, kittens and hot chicks). don't go starting a coup to overthrow the boards or the mini RC companies.

here's what will happen...

you and your friends rip off Microsizers for 60 cars, then a few copycats reading the boards decide to do the same thing. Microsizers take a hit in their profits and 2 things happen. they start charging $50 per car on their spring release or they draw back money from their customer service, causing it to be difficult to get through to resolve our "REAL" issues. not to mention, they may just stop taking back the broken chassis and charging us shipping to get a new one and to send them the "REAL" broken one. this only ends up hurting us...the consumers, because the companies will always make their money...one way or another.

in closing...don't be a theif!
