This makes your links and text look different

<style type="text/css">
<!--A:link{font:'Times New roman';color:black;text-decoration:none}
A:visited{font:'Times New roman';color:black;text-decoration:none}
A:active{font:'Times New roman';color:yellow;text-decoration:none}
A:hover{font:'Times New roman';color:yellow;text-decoration:none}
-->
body
{scrollbar-face-color: black; scrollbar-shadow-color: black;
scrollbar-highlight-color: yellow; scrollbar-3dlight-color: black;
scrollbar-darkshadow-color: black; scrollbar-track-color:#0D08DB;

Nope... the red scroll bars are here

tinyrc 08-29-2002 11:46 PM

Very strange, we haven't changed a thing - is this happening everywhere on the site for those of you that are having this problem?

GreatDane 08-30-2002 03:36 PM

ok, i think i have it figured out! it all depends on what browser you are using. I have 3 browsers, Netscape 6.2, Internet Explorer 6.0, and MSN but i never use it cuz it sucks. Anyway, the red scroll bar doesn't show up on netscape, but it does on IE-so that should be why he wasn't seeing it anymore

Tech_Lord 09-05-2002 03:12 AM

yeah but I was mucking around with my school computers at high school, and they had windows 2000 with netscape 6.0, and they didnt come up! but they come up well in the browser at my home, and the browser is 6.0!

fatdoggy 09-05-2002 04:24 AM

But I run explorer :confused: I hate netscape and I don't use the Aol browser......... :confused:

Here's a screen shot. A geocities account that I just use for posting pics. :D

ok, i am figuring this out before i go to school, so i might not all me grammatically correct. first, go to tools, internet options, advanced tab, and scroll down to the line where you see "enable visual styles on buttons and controls on web pages" then, if that box does not have an X in it, put one in, and click "apply". Next, restart your computer, come back to tinyrc.com ,and you should be all set!

fatdoggy 09-05-2002 01:47 PM

O sorry, I use two computers, a p3 550 with win 98se which probably has an older version of explorer and a amd 850 with ME that probably has the latest version. The red scroll bars don't work in the old browser but I'll see if what GreatDane said works when I switch machines.

Thanks Guys. :D

P.s. Thanks for making the forum netscape compatible because I have to use it at school.

No show of the red scroll bars in the internets most standards compliant browser either - Opera. But does it really matter anyway?

GreatDane 09-06-2002 04:59 PM

IT MATTERS FOR EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!
