Rotary
I will pay $30 and up for a mini rotary for a zip zap. I would also like to have a fuel tank and it has to make the car run at at least the equivalant of a 1.0 motor. I would like it to be faster though. I would like it fairly soon. It would also need to be fairly reliable. It would be best if it would be prefitted in the car. It would need a supply of fuel and I would need to know what fuel would be used. I will not be able to pay instantly. I would like the builder to build more than one. I would go up to maybe $75 per car but would like to keep it low cost. Hope someone can do it. You could also sell them as production but I would want a few engines to fit them in my bit-charg. I would also want them to have different performance qualities like high torque or high speed. I have attached a link to explain how a rotary engine works. Good luck!!!!!!!

Just say 'no' to drugs.

WhaT
only 30 bux?? i can do it for a higher price |
.....................um............ok............. ..please tell me this is a joke.
??????????????????????????????????
just a question: with such a small fuel tank you're expecting to run how much time???? 3 sec? and by the way if someone can put a transmission with 6 gears and an exaust with a catalyzer (ambient friendly), and ,since we're asking, put also a radiator just to cool down the engine... |
how will this thing work? a bit is about the size of 2-3 pennnies and the engine itself is 1(not including the gas tank, battery,ect)...but i want 1..might make me go fast:D
ths would look so cool tho...every part for the engine would really make a diffrence in how it performs!!like real muflers...intercooler some how if u put turbo somehow..omg!!it would be soooo cooooool |
investigating a little bit in that site you gave i've found this:
Mini-Rotary Engine if you can see the engine itself has the size of a bit... |
jei$ start now but it will have to fit all requirements. I might not need the car. Just include all required systems. I will build a turbo if you will build to all the specs. Try to make it so you can mod it. My brother would like one too. (just a thought, you could sell the engines and you or I could sell mods for them) I hope you can do this!!!!!!!:D :D :D :D
Just remembered. I said I would go to $75 if it includes car and meets and exceeds all specs. I would like it to fit in a Bit-Charg
Why don't you try a cox tee-dee airplane engine? just stick it and it's fuel on your bit's roof, and you have a viable dragster/airplane!
I want it to fit without wrecking the body. I also want gas tank fitted in front of the battery. I want it to work like this. You could just use a throttle and keep glow plug at constant temp. You might possibly do this. When you press forward it puts electricity into the glow plug and causes gas to heat up more for higher revs. I don't want to have to do a lot work on it because it is so small. jei$ try it soon. I want it to run on glow fuel. :D :D
i jus got a great thought!!!sicince its a cumbustible engine u can put nitrous oxide in it some how!!!
That was an idea my brother had but the container would most likely explode and it is so small it won't last long. It is a cool idea though.
If you build it send a record to guiness world records for the smallest rotary engine in the world.
lmao!or the first cumbustibel engine inside biit
this has got to be a joke.
Go to this site if you plan to build it.
http://www.rotaryenginesillustrated.com or something like that. |
sorry it worked for me. jei$ take it on
idrew up plans just pm or email me.
EDIT I drew
lol.. sorry to burst your bubble.. but JUST how r u planning on puttin gthe air tank.. the fuel cell and the engine under a body w/o modifying it. it wont happen.. also RC fuel already used nitro in the mix.. i run 20% in my rc10 gt

Time to end this...
They do make Wankel/rotary engines for model RC airplane use, but they are very large compared to our Bits. They cost several HUNDRED dollars!
To shrink them to Bit size, while not impossible, would cost thousands of dollars in engineering & equipment alone. The resulting micro rotary engines would retail for thousands of dollars also... I am not trying to hurt the feelings of a 13 yr old, but this has to be said. I would be really interested in an internal combustion engine that small too. Just laying out the facts :( John |
Good god, THANK YOU John. I was waiting for the joke to end. Yes, it would be very cool, but come on!!! And if you couldn't tell dude, Jeis was joking.
I can't tell if this guy is serious or not, but I sincerely hope, for the sake of his own dignity, that he's kidding.
Putting a gas engine in a bit is not only inefficient, unreliable, expensive and heavy, but also completely counter productive. You're telling us you want to spend $30 for one of the smallest gas engines in the world and a new technology (micro rotary) and to be prefitted to a $30 toy car!? Hey, while we're at it, lets give it 3 differentials to handle the AWD and a sequential twin turbo to eliminate turbo lag. And then we can make it larger, like maybe 12 or so feet long, and then oh yeah we can sell it for $35000 and call it a CAR. |
shocon2k, with no seats?
wheres the factory options???
i dont want it if it duznt have sum cool factory options |
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1:D :D :D ;) ;) ;)
Actualy I hope it works! Compared to a battery would have alot more power to do stuff.
Shortly this concept will be around since battries are about at there limits and be nice to work on cutting edge stuff. Go for a truck or bus instead of a car. More room inside. :) Saw at Frys a science kit for a Fuel cell car. Could cut that down and leave the current motor drive train in place on the bit. Just feed voltage. The other way is about 100 years old but would be very interting to try. Tesler had a concept of broadcast power. Pie in sky but would be intersting if that would work. One other way is to build a flywheel bases. Fast to charge and may give enough umph to drive around. Good luck on your research! Really hope you make it! :) |
I might try it. You may think I'm crazy but I WANT POWER!!!!!!! HAAA! HAAA! HAAA!:D :D :D
you do realize that these things are 90% plastic and will melt?
I email the developer of mini rotary engine about this but no reply yet. I asked about the NOS
But could convert a diecast and have it really move! :)
Yeah but I want control of it.:D
I'm Crazy!!!!!!!!! Should I ask out the girl I like at school? I really like her!:D   :D

she thinks I'm crazy!:o :o   :D :D

I think you are beyond crazy.
Gas engine in a bit is not going to cost $30. I mean come on a bit is about that. How can micro-machining and R&D be less than $20,000, if not thousands more? Time to get real. Also ask her out, nothing bad will happen, it either yes or no. |
i have a thought...
if you really want your bit to go really fast, do this: Dual cell mod top speed motor w/ appropriate gearing and.... strap a bottle rocket to the top of your car... :D:D when the fuse runs out...the rockets kick in :D:D:D.... oooo... time to buy a clone :p |
you don't realize who i'm talking about do you? The rejection and the humiliation of being shot down would spread like an out of control wildfire.
