Del Sol Bit Char-G
 

Has any one made a del sol body? I'm new and wondering what body would you use to make one.

I haven't seen a BC-G Del Sol, but it seems like the S2000 body would be the closest place to start. I'd like to see a pic of your 1:1 Del Sol though, it sounds like a monster!

Wow, it sure does sound like a big fast monster. Man, 1/4 mile in under 12 secs... Almost 10 sec car... :p And 500 horsies in it... Man, sure do want to see it... ;)

doesnt really look like an s2000, kind ahard to tell. Theres a bunch of other cars there to look at too if you like :)

use bablefish/babelfish, im not toos ure of the spelling.

the del sol on that page is a rx-7...
if u look closely u can see the side skirts that come on the rx-7....
or it can b a figment of my imagination....
it cant b the s2k for sure...

the fenders dont match up....

the fenders dont need to match up. HOWEVER it may not be an s2000. But i believe it isnt an RX7, im comparing mine right now and i noticed the following:

the side skirts are the same. The windows are different. RX7s dont have a line down their windows. RX7s dont have a bump in the hood. One thing is, most of the custom jobs there have an icon of the car used, ont the top beside the name. Ironically, this one didnt have one.

as u can c on the front there r bumper lights......
and they made the line down the window....

that B4 pic, looks like its a celica. so im clueless now, but your right about the hood.

lol mein either. I just needed to post whore. I dont know how he did it, but im guessing he used putty and a lot of smoothing and fine sanding. and i doubt he used modeling clay, cuz that POS doesnt harden. (i wish i read the wrapper b4 hand.)

try plaster...
but it might weight too much...

Check out the two part puttys available at most hobby shops.
They do harden quite well... The stuff I use comes in a yellow/blue strip that goes green when mixed.
Prepare for lots of sanding and patience for drying.

yeah it usally takes a while for it to dry and its a b!@#$ to sand

i'm pretty sure your del sol does not have 500 hp. did you get your license yet? just turned 16 this year right?

It would have to have that kind of HP to get into the sub-12's. I don't believe it either, though ;)

Thats my estimated HP I dont know exactley what it is since i've done moddifications. Besides I'm selling it. I need a more versitle vehicle. I just got a 99 s10. After I sup up my s10 i will by another car. Maybe a Del Sol. Del sol's are a lil too compact. L8r.
I will send links to my s10 pics once iget them up. L8r.

i dont think its a rx-7 because the gas tank (the thing on the side) on my rx-7 is a circle not a square
