Hey 323it, how did you mkae those hood vents?with putty add-opns or did you make a whole new hood with them on?

That's the R34 from the auto-modellista set, totally stock but completly bad @ss. :D

whats the "auto-modellista set"? and where can i get one!!! :D

its a set with 3 bodies...1 chassis...you can get them most places regular bits are sold.

damn, i bet it costs a fortune...... :(

i think you're thinking of the Skyline GTR set. that one has 3 bodies
the auto modelista set has 4 bodies from the game auto modelista. yellow supra, blue RX7, red SKyline R32, dark grey Skyline R34:)
yeah its by far the best stock body ever:eek:

didn't want to ruin the front end by making holes, so i cleared out the lenses and placed the led's underneath

how much is the auto modelista set?? is it just a set of bodies?:D

got the rear wheels from the ZZ's booster set (gears) and the ZZ's hub cap/tire set. I'm going to put the ZZ wheels up front soon to so all the wheels look the same :D

Well, here's my Skyline. :D

It's been lowered (had to remove PCB cover and shave some of the chassis to get the body to fit).
I made the decals on my printer.
Windows are tinted.
Grill areas are opened and covered with real metal mesh.

I think it turned out OK. I want to add a few more details, though. :p

What did you use for the mesh on the front grill(s)? I have been wanting to add that to mine but I can't find the right material.

DANGIT, I was gonna do mesh grill like that. :( I guess I won't be the first anymore. :)

I was just going to use faucet screen..

I was going to use "other" screens that I have handy. :p But it doesn't seem as tightly woven as the ones on the cars in the forum.

Well, my Skyline is getting another makeover tonight so I'll post pics tomorrow when the paint is dry. :)

I used a scrap piece of mesh that my girfriend used in a craft project. I'll try to find out what that stuff is... :confused:

It's really easy to work with, cuts easy & bends easy. Paint seems to clog up the tiny openings, so it doesn't look as good. :mad:

its the mesh that you use to repair holes in cars and stuf. a fine metal mesh thats easy to bend, u can get a big piece in halfords for £1. good stuf ... :D

is the stock skyline body a r34? or r33? looks more like a r33 2 me.

they're all R34. the red one is R32

i know that the red 1 is r32. just wondering if they remake the r34, cuz they look different.

yeah R34s have a bigger back break light than the R32 and R33 thats how you can tell
