Truck is a little dusty.

That's freaking awesome! I'm going to buy my Hummer on Saturday after my parents get home. Right now I'm stuck at home with my Grandma and sister, and my grandma doesn't care for going places too much. But I knew someone would have an EVO on these boards.

eternaldragon 10-10-2005 05:16 AM

I got it 2 days ago that's when all the RS stores in my area got all the cars but the g35 and every upgrade but the turbo.
My next car will be the 2006 mustang.
Would get the firebird but it's almost the same as the camaro.

arch2b 10-10-2005 10:58 AM

i bought both the lancer and h2. i'm happy with the lancer but the h2 is a disappointment

my gallery

The H2 doesn't have ANY ground clearance!!... :(

at least you can make it 4WD (if it isn't already... I haven't seen one in person)

eternaldragon 10-11-2005 02:00 AM

It's not awd stock it's rwd and it has no ground clearance between the tires until you get the lift kit but i can still go over things i couldn't before with the cars.:D

There a little slow off the line but fast enough at top end.

akura2 10-11-2005 08:13 AM

oh ok... I figured that since it IS a Hummer...that they may have included the 4WD.... oh well

eternaldragon 10-13-2005 10:49 AM

Here is the hummer lifted.

my first xmod, got it today. Also picked up the AWD and Stage 2 motor. Next upgrades for me will probably be bearings and the suspension kit.. from what i've been reading, the play in the wheels can hopefully be fixed with the upgraded bearings. this truck goes pretty straight, but there's almost a sliding motion to it.. like it's pointed one way, but heading slightly off.. we shall see i guess.

Are you running it on carpet? If so that is normal, has to do with the weave of the fibers being directional.

joonix 10-25-2005 03:52 PM

actually yes, so that would make sense. Plus it's pretty new carpet, so it still all lays in one direction. Makes sense to me, thanks :)

My Hummer H2 going off road.

I got my H2 a week ago and just recently installed the lifter kit. Everything is still stock, except for the 4WD upgrade. One thing I did notice about it is that when I let go of the gas (so to speak), my front wheels bind inwards. In other words, the side closest to the center of the H2 turn inwards. Is this normal for the 4WD upgrade? How can it be fixed? Thanks for your responses. Anyways, here are my pics. On this one, you can see big-time ground clearance.

And another one.

And another one showing that all 4 tires are touching my man-made mountain.

flamehead_16 02-26-2006 06:58 AM

hey gleemonex69 did you have to modify anything to get those tires on. i was thinking of buying them for my truck.

gleemonex69 02-26-2006 09:31 PM

Tires....

The tires and wheels shown are what come with the lifter kit. There was no other mod made. Just today I installed the yellow springs of the series one suspension upgrade and it seems to help in the traction department. The springs shown are stock. I had to stretch them out a bit, but it seems to work just fine.

oops sorry i ment L0ne wolf 72.

Got mine up and running properly tonight.

I've done the AWD, Lift and Stage2 (9/25 gearing) upgrades to mine.

My first xmod!

i purchased this xmod evo h2 from radio shack while it was on sale for $24.95 + 3 Free Included Accessories! I chose the bearing upgrade kit, engine upgrade and the aftermarket body kit as my three free accessory packs. I also purchased the underglow panel, head/tail lights, upgraded wheel pack, body slamming kit and installed it all in one night! i'm totally addicted to these and got them for a great price! i have a scion tc still new in box just waiting for me to modify it! =) here's some pictures of my Hummer H2 Evo. i also did some modification on the mods! can anyone tell what i improvised? =P+

I recently got the H2 and thought maybe do the drop and what not, but another idea clicked. . . Some may say its stupid, but I like it.

By the way, none of the pictures were posed, if the car couldnt do it on its own, I didnt take a picture

*EDIT* The car set up: 4WD, Off road kit, Body kit, stock motor 9/25 gearing, heads/tails, Spare swap, and a body lift (front clip moved up and rear clip attatched with springs and GEN 1 rear deck screws, the long ones)

S12Driver 08-09-2007 03:08 AM

sweetd3stiny: The only thing I could tell was the Black/Black switch. Black stock bumper with after market black grille. And its been buggin me ever since you said that. Sooooo, if Im wrong. . . lemme know. . . please? hehe.

ANYWAY, I changed some things on the H2, got too bored with how it looked and decided to change it up a bit.
