XMOD RX-7 intercooled
 

Heres my project rx-7, i made an intercooler and an exhaust out of pens :) lol tell me what u think.

That looks really good. Are you going to paint it, or leave it black? Either way, it still looks really good. I can't wait to see it on the chassis. Good job, man.

Thank you, I will prob. paint it red or white, seeing that those rims would look good with the red or white paint. Next mod is hopefully intercooler pipes or a new exhaust, or maybe even a wing. BTW I made that intercooler with a business card lol:

that will be sweet when its done! though, in my openion, the exaust is alittle large.....but overall, it looks sweet!!! (check out my new bits in the bcg gallery, i got a RX-7......)

EDIT: Here is an update on the exhaust. Its shiny and now has a pipe. I also put vinyls and a wing (for fun)

i wish i could remember where i got 'em....lol....id buy all of 'em....and keep me posted on that x-mod 7......its lookin good so far...cant wait to see the finished product!!....i need to find a model so i can make one..lol......you should make the decal read: PR0N.....not PORN....lol.....:D

My Supra would look really sweet beside Boost's RX-7, as his would beside my Supra. They are both almost the same color!

BTW Very Nice RX-7 I'd like to get that body, what is it? Brand, etc.?

I should figure out a way to put an intercooler on my RSX. That would be sweet. I'm going to figure out a way to do that.

Haha, yeah I'd like to see that, and slap a Greddy logo on there, they make a real RSX turbo kit.

Hey minidrifter, where did you get that body and how did you install it on the chassis? I'm very interested in this project!

I know, but I didn't think it really mattered. They are my favorite tuning company by the way. I have a custom GReddy tach windshield banner on my Supra. Anyway, "TRUST" in me, "GReddy" is my favorite company and my Supra has been "GRacer"ed with GReddy products. Haha, I hear ya tho. Peace.

I also would like to know where you got the Rx7 body. I'm ordering a kit from tamiya . . . will the shell fit the Skyline Chassis?

You guys are in South Carolina? You don't ever happen to goto Aiken or Columbia do you? Perhaps you know of Team Rousche (sp?)

Maybe you're familiar with CSRA Motorsports forum? The reason I ask is we've got a couple of cars here in Augusta, GA that run around.. Subaru WRX, Ford Cobra, 300ZX Turbo, Rx7 TT, Camaro Z28, Honda S2000, etc.. If you guys ever want to get togethor with the xmods and real cars, msg me and we'll set something up. Would be awesome to have an Xmod shootout.

There's even a track here in Augusta for racing nitro off-road trucks and on-road cars like Xmods, RS4's etc.

Nice Rx7 Xmod. We've done some body swaps, but nothing as customized as that. You can see ours over in my thread: WIP: Skyline and PT Cruiser.

sorry to revive this link.....but what ever happened to this x-mod RX-7??....as an owner of the real thing....i really liked this project...

Someone on EBay is selling FC bodies. I didn't see the body this guy was making, was it an FD? BTW, I own a 1990 GXL :D
