bitchar-a
Hi guys I bought a zipzap yellow mustang at my local radioshack and found out on this website that it wont go as fast as the bits so I bought me a bit on ebay and Im going to give my zipzap to my daughter, the bit I purchased is a bitchar-a and it comes with a 1.0 motor but it comes with a 2.2 motor also, Isn't the 1.0 motor the slowest you can get I was just wondering why they would sell them with the 1.0, so whats the difference between the bitchar-a and bitchar-g is it just the motor or is there other stuff thats different about them
Thanks Casper, |
Dude the bit char-a is a clone nock off....basically you know some good company makes a good product then another one comes in and makes "look a like" and sells it in such a way to make you think you are buying the authentic brand. You've ordered a clone. I can't tell you what quality it will be or if it will even work.

Bitchar-a
Well I didn't pay much for it

Good I would hate to hear you spent 30 bucks for a fake. You can get a authentic one for 35 bucks with shipping from tinyrc.com's parts section.
|
bitchar-a
It was $15 and it was from some one here in the states
|
Like you say at least you're not out much. I'm sure if you have any questions once you get it we'll be here to help.

Pulling my hair out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just cause you get a char-g authentic doesn't necesarily mean you are getting quality...I got my car had stearing problem then they sent me a new car (warranty) but it has another problem. The PCB cover is coming off and can't be snapped into place cause of the way the electronics/wires are placed underneath board. The darn board just can't be recessed into chassis enough for door the close completely.
|
Try movieing the board in differnt directions...that may allow for a better fit and allow you to be able to close the cover......and YES not all Char-G are up to par.....example the Intial D set had to have the steering thing adjusted all the way to one side, just to get it straight....but it's straight that way...and have had no issues with that particular bit.....just my 2 cents
|
hmm what kind of car is that bitcharA?
|
Looks like the wagon....with a a differnt paint scheme
|
bitchar-a
Its a Toyota Celica
|
maan thats horrible packaging...the picture in the bottom right isnt even the same car..
but the car in the corner does look something like a 4 door Accord or other 4 door car |

Hey guys I finally got the bitchar-a in the mail the other day it seems to run fine and it has a long antenna about 2 or 3 times longer then my ZZ and faster then the ZZ with a 1.0 motor and it also came with a 2.6 motor the only thing I dont like about it is it turns sharper left then it does right any suggestions why it does that other then that Im very pleased with it
|
I bought one of those little Bit char-A's and they were good for some knock-around time.
However the quality of the construction wasnt really the best. When I went into reverse, the car would swerve to the left continuously. And the quality of the transmitter buttons wasnt better compared to the Bit char-G's. Sometimes the buttons wouldnt even touch the sensors. But if you were lucky to get a good Bit charA w/o any defects then u got a good car specialy wit the 2.6 motor. BTW i returned mine |
Well I fixed the turning problem all I did was put different back tires on it
|
I've never had any problems with my BitChar-A It's not as well built but I can't say it's horrible either. It is pretty quick though.
|
As long as he did not pay that much, and he does not mind there is no problem. Some people seach ofr bt clones on purpose.
|
Well sence I switched the back tires I have not had any problems with it, the other day my brother got a nakamichi-n racer from wal-mart and it has a turbo switch on it and it has 2 batteries in it but there about half the size of the ones in the bits and the only thing you can hop-up on it so far with out taring it apart is changing the tires its the same size as the bits but you can take the motor or rear axle out of it because the motor and axles is in a sealed plastic housing, its as fast as my bit-a with a 2.6 in it with the turbo button on
