Ball bearings

I was thinking if people can put ball bearings in axles then we could use them on the motor ends. The endbell end would have to be super tiny. The other end could be larger.:) :D

you are gona have to borrow the tiny ballbearings from your podracer or rotary engine to do that.

you come up with some very complex yet flawed theories kid. one day you will probably come up with some crazy perpetual motion machine. until then i giggle.

Why would you want to put bearings on the end of your motor?

I had the same idea. I have a source for axle size bearings, have not found any small enough for motor shaft though. I plan on trying some in my pan chassis project, they would be hard to fit in stock chassis.

yeah i have access to any bearings i want tiny huge u name it

BabyKiller 04-25-2003 08:07 AM

hey bdbdbdebedebebebdbe how much are these bearings gonna run?

BabyKiller 04-25-2003 10:47 AM

cost wise i have no idea seeing as i dont have to pay for them

BabyKiller 04-25-2003 10:49 AM

oh and all we need for perpetual motion is space and microwave transmitters! cause in space there little to no air resistance and im sure theres a way to engineer a machine to use that to an advantage and the microwave transmitter sends energy down to earth in a reciever :D

You can get the mini Bearings at most RC Hobby Stores!!...

Racer9 04-25-2003 06:06 PM

no air in space but slight amounts of gravity.
I have already taken the SATs by the way. I got 1140 or something close. I took them last year!

hogjowlz 04-25-2003 06:11 PM

theres air in space. a complete vacuum is not possible.

bdebde 04-25-2003 08:44 PM

hogjowlz,

The only prices I have found are $9 - $12 a piece.

Web Guy,

Most hobby shops do not carry anything that small, I know I checked many all over the country ( I travel a lot).

BabyKiller,

Why don't you send me some of those bearings then, if you get them for free. I would pay shipping and a little something for your trouble. I can give you part numbers if that will help.

these part numbers are for flanged bearings.
