What is the Best bit Clone?
I want to buy a clone that you can I buy at like Target, Walmart or KB.ext.
I want it to be a good clone for Bit Char-G. I just bought a fast motor of the internet and it might not work good with my ZZ. Thanks! |
Word is the Microsizer sports are 10$ right now at target....
|
did you get the 3.8 cause if you did that was a bad choise r-spec has way more torque and is rated like 38000-40000 rpm
|
Lol. Yes I did buy a 3.8, it might have been perfection though
|
well perfections r good not as good as r-sprec though

Dark Tari,
are they really the same car? how do you know? i have both adn am thinking of stripping them down and seeing how close they match up. are they indeed the same? |
Yea, i hear rally racers are pretty good, i find them all over the place. I have a MS and a clone. My clone is called "Mini R/C Racer", i think its a cyclone, i dont think its a cyclona though. Ill try and find more out about it, but it does wheelies on my carpet without any mods. I got it for $15 at my LHS.
|
microsizer sports are stilll 20 bux at my target here in Tracy

i picked up a clone at burlington coat factory yesterday. it rules. it steers possibly better than a bit. it has better range than a bit. it has a better motor than any tomy motor out there. plus they had a few bodies that tomy doesnt make. it was the most generic packaging ive seen yet for a clone but it rules.
the only thing i can complain about it is the tires. they are hard and messed up. |
waaaa i have to get cloths for school there(damn private school)and ive never seen any clones

thx i bought one 2day. damn man 15 BUX A PIECE MAN FOR A CLONE!! i couldnt have bought a microsizer fer 10 but i decided to try these out. overall i think THEY ARE GOOD AS THEY LOOK. good clone probably as good as a microsizer. except mine kind of has a flaw. it cant turn left as good as it can turn right. i have easy donuts with right. but big wide circles with left. i mean like 4x4 feet big. the speed and torque is AMAZING tho. almost as fast as my dks 3.4 preciouse. i think preciouse and shens are the same tho. anyone else agree???
|
For total performance out the box:
I rate the Shen #1, Precious 2nd, Panther 3rd, etc...... For fit & finish: Lxx #1 (without a doubt), Precious 2nd, the rest are about the same to me. This just my opinion! Your opinions may vary...... |
Both Shens are Precious are sweet. I like the Shen bodies better, but prefer the wider steering of the Precious.
|
i picked up some bullet clone at burlington coat factory last week. it is the most generic packaging ive ever seen but man is the car sweet. it steers better than a bit and the motor that came with it makes my dual cell bit roll over 5 or 6 times.
|
The lxx cars look nice! How compatible are they with bits/microsizers? Is the chassis/PCB any good, or do they just look really good?
|
Calsonic_racer
you live in tracy, ca? i live in manteca the target here has sports for 10 bucks |
billy, i think LXX are near replicas of bits... almost everything will work, but im not sure about the FEW things that dont..
if ur looking for an LXX, i say go for the boosters.. the only thing that i ever really hear complaints about is the steering.. |

Thanks Pie, DarkTari!
This wouldn't be so hard if a bit booster didn't cost 4X an lxx booster!
|
hehe, oops... darktari im sloooowww... =P
i dunno.. LXX for 20 canadian is one kick-ass deal... even cheaper than shens! and basically i was buying for the body.... which is 15 bucks from any LHS, so... 5 dollar booster chassis! cant lose ^__^ but STILL... go for the TOMY boosters... according to those reviews, LXX is unreliable when it comes to consistancy... some people get good ones, some people get poor ones.. =\ |
This is so cool...
I found this site MicroRacers.com that has reviews for like every clone there ever was. Check it out!
|
They raised :blift: the price on the ms sports back to 19.99 at my target :( :( oh well i dont have any money to spend any ways
|
i dont knwo if u can consider microsizer sports clones, they are just the american made bits. I would have to say if nething a rally racer is my best bit clone i have tried. i picked it up at shop and save for 9.99. really fast and good handeling.Awesome bodies too. And it also has 4 frequencies
|
Put my vote in for the Shen Qi Wei/Rally Racers.
Powerful motor, decent range. I have a few, and I bought several for gifts - not one of them was defective. Pretty decent for 10 bucks! |
Just got a Shen Qi Wei
Thought I'd check out the Mini RC kiosk at the local mall last night. They were obviously all clones, but what I thought was strange was that only one particular car model (Castrol box) actually said "By Shen qi wei" on the underside, however, they all looked to have the same product name MINI "MASTER" Racer. I picked out the one that actually said "Shen" on it. The lady at the booth also said it was probably the best one because it wasn't as noisy as the others, especially the trucks.
I brought it to work this morning raced around my desk and it did run nice. It even took one of my ZipZap motors! Tires are a bummer though, as they don't match up well. This is it: http://roadraider.netfirms.com/image...castrolbox.jpg |
Get 'em from Bogiesbeans for $10
I was doing some surfing for the Shen's and found this site. They take PayPal payments and I just remembered that I have a few bucks on my PayPal account. hmmm...
