"Could you give me some more info on these wheels? Thanks paul."

No problem :) This post should just about cover it all...

Ok, the ones that I found were the USPS special edition "Johnny Lightning" postal trucks. The wheels are actually 2 pieces, the piece that attaches to the axle, and a sort of "hubcap" which is the center of the wheel. The tires then fit over both pieces once they are snapped together. On the QFM site they say that there are many different wheels available, but I've only seen the ones I have -and one other type (in an ebay auction). Anyway, the large wheel (with tire on) measures 12mm tall by 5.5mm wide and the smaller wheel measures 11mm tall by 5.5mm wide.

I've included a picture that shows the wheels and how they separate as well as the "logo" to look for on the package. These wheels look pretty nice, and I can't wait to get them on a bit :)

Are those Johnny Lightning "Real wheels series" actual metal or plastic replica rims?

Thanks gbalight.

Do you know what the "wheel adapters" are that are talked about on QFM about hot swapping the JL wheels and rims?

This is a little drastic here but... I've found that one of the easiest ways to get the rear wheels off of the axles (that's what you're talking about right?), is to heat the axle CAREFULLY while pulling lightly on the wheel. When it gets to the right temperature the wheel will pull right off like butter :) BUT, you need to be CAREFUL; you do not want to get it so hot that you melt out the inside of the wheel :(

Since Tiny has not produced these on this site. Has anyone gone and bought them, themselves?

when I looked at the S/H prices from that German site, they where $31 to ship 0.2k. I had only selected two sets of tires in my shopping cart. Total was $64.

Well if I (or possibly Pimp-Daddy Payaso) can contact anyone in Germany about those rims (possibly Payaso's old German fling, hint hint) :) , then I can get them in stock for my upcoming online shop. I know they would be a hotselling item, and if I could get them relatively cheap from a contact in Germany that would be a nice kick in the @$$ for my business. :D
