I got them initially off ebay via Dinball. I was drunk when I installed them initially, and in a fit of illogical thinking, drilled the screw holes wider. When I ordered the replacements (not via ebay this time...just went straight to rcmart.com), I found the improvements had been made.

when is tiny rc going to start selling GPM parts
|
GPM should make shafts so we could fit mini z rims on with out moding them and make the front dogbones for the FWD
|
Why come there isn't a_GPM Front Body Lock Plate for the skyline?
|
AWD dogbones are supposedly prohibitively expensive to make, although I don't know to what degree.
There are only 2 GPM lock plate styles: RSX and Supra, but check the shape of the GPM ones to see if either look like yours, as they are not necessarily restricted to those body styles. For instance, I have an Acura NSX, and the RSX lock plate is a perfect match. |

Or you can get a set of topcad rims.

I've got a couple of TopCad wheel sets coming in, but I'm not buying any wheels until I actually get a look at them so I can be sure of the wheels I buy. Any recommendations on what kind of wheels should go on it? I plan on running those particular wheels on garage concrete (very smooth) and probably the drift side of my RCP track, but how much traction do the wider tires have over stock XMODS? I generally only run XMODS hard rubber and foam, so I'm curious how the TopCad setup will sit compared to those two.

I'm starting to rethink the topcad wheels though, since I tried my car with RS foams on the track and had perfect traction with both surfaces. When I boost the power, I'm afraid that the extra traction in those rear wheels will cause me to flip (did for my friend's differently balanced car). I won't know for a few more weeks, though, since I need to build a AA harness locking mechanism and finish up my turbo packaging to get that kind of power.

The rims are perfect but the tires I ordered from RC mart the 15 degrees dont quite fit the whole rim, thats the bad thing but the good thing is they give a whole lot of traction super soft. I still will be shopping for more tires :( .

Edit: Also, you might wanna head over to MZR and pick up 9.5mm front tires, as they fill up the rim better and give you a better contact patch. |
Jon.jon, really off-topic, but your email and PM buttons don't work, and I was wondering which parts did you need to upgrade for your Emaxx on one BL motor. Email me at viperdout@gmail.com or AIM at viperdout. I hate making senseless posts like that but it's the only thing that works.
