He suggested that I use shrink-tube to help reinforce the cup. I took it a step further and used super-glue and encased it in a small layer. It works well.

what is the item # for the heat shrinks from RS? any pics of what you did?

I didn't get my heat shrink from RS. I had some lying around from somewhere. At any rate.....it didn't do the trick. Maybe it would have if the cup didn't get stressed apart in the first place, which prompted me to do the heat shrink method. I'll have to fabricate some out of metal somehow. Anyone know of anyone making metal dogbones?

The dogbone's nubs are wore down pretty bad, but the cup got obliterated. I'm going to try a new one and do the heat-shrink trick on it BEFORE I run it. Gotta get a new cup first though....anyone got any extra front-right cups??

BTW, what's the RS part number on that small cup in the front right? Which of these is it, if any?

Yea....just got back from RS. Got a new AWD kit and had 5 of the cups shipped to my house. 5 of them shipped for $17.11. Not too bad.....now back to business...

Shesh 5 cups for 17 some bucks? You might as well get a whole other xmod and get the pieces you'd need and part the rest out... I swear Radio shack is stupid, everytime I see something about those I-c3 batteries I think of RS and how they are selling everything rayovac sells for twice as much. Man I hate RS.

The motor really screams, but I can't see how fast it goes.

BTW, for $17 you should have just bought craftsman's metal cup for $12 shipped.

The motors come 3 day ground usually. If that's what you were talking about....
