i think i know what the magents are....the magnets are in the body of the shell...i think if magnets have elecicty they get stonger right? so tmaby if you stick the thinist wire to the magnetwhen thers elctriciyt it would go faster...i donno its a thought but im gonna try it...:D

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 05:02 PM

Babykiller i got the info from my cousin. There we go silent pimp experiment. But remember to use either your crappiest motor or your broken motor or else youll end up screwin over your good motor. :)

BabyKiller 01-26-2003 05:06 PM

i know but ummmm still i want an e-mail on what ur cousin did when you have the chance

btw:i found some high torqe hiigh power 3.4 motors

GTR 01-26-2003 05:13 PM

does it matter? if u go to a race....they're just gonna go...sorry...we're not letting u play with us cuz ur motor is too fast. put in a slow one haha

or...they'll just make some super technical track where all u do is run into the walls all day

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 05:20 PM

Ya ill tell you when i get the chance cuz he really doesnt want anyone to know. I would tell but ya hes the mastermind behind everything.

Well the pager motors ring in at about 12,000rpms, but they do last very long (endurance + running time). The other ones, Mabuchi motors, are used in the Mini-Z. As for all the other really advanced ones, they sound cool!

XeroGT-R 01-26-2003 08:15 PM

WHOOT WHOOT!!! IM SO DAMN HAPPY!!! IM 100 BUCS RICHER !! BUCS WON!!!

Wrecks Inc 01-26-2003 08:30 PM

He (xero) meant that he just unwrapped some of the winding around the motor's armature. I dont see how that is possible because it wouldnt spin true anymore..I race electric offroad (1/10th scale) and the mod motors are classified in 'turns' or how many times the wire is wrapped around the armature. The lower the turn, the lower amount of wires wrapped around the armature, causing faster speeds. The byproduct is heat and less run time. (drawing more current) If Xero really did this (in no way am I saying he didnt..) the motor would be drawing more current from the PCB, and it may possibly burn it out..

BabyKiller 01-26-2003 09:01 PM

lol i want a hundred dollars

p.s. wrecks inc. um people can pull that off and 1.0 motor isnt that much just you want everyone knowing how ur wuping there asses by 30,000rpm?

BabyKiller 01-26-2003 09:04 PM

imagins his heatsink melting onto the chassi:D

BabyKiller 01-26-2003 09:05 PM

but wrecks im curious dosnt that decrease amount of power/torqe by more than half?
