How do you keep these cars controllable at such high speeds?
What is the secret??
I have a clone with the Zip Zaps F&F upgrades, suspension, and stock rubber, and the thing is extremely twitchy at full speed. I can't imagine trying to control it with an R-type motor in it!

BTW: I'm glad I found this forum. I have to admit I thought I had really stumbled on something when I experimented with the Zip Zaps stuff in my clones.

i heard that if you put on heavy wheels it might be able to handle better. and the only place ive seen sell real metal wheels (or at least i think they are) is this web site:

also i heard if you want the best of both worlds a 3.5 is great.

Im very new into this scene, just picked up a booster car and the 4 band controller yesterday. Stumbled upon this site later that day... I was like "SWEET"

I wish i had more cars and motors to compair, I have a Sony 3 megapixel Digi Camera, that can take perfect web size (good quality at an affordable size) videos. I have taken many of my 100% stock booster, going from gear one to two, jumping off my table (eek, that was scary, but all good) and just doing fun spins and tricks on various surfaces.

Maybe some day i will be able to contribute, I plan on trying to find more "hop-ups" I live in Japan so it shoulodnt be to awful hard....

Yeah those are metal. Those are actually german import alloy rims from www.bitcharg.de .

i will include several comparisons in my video. this should be pretty thorough.

Besides a visual comparison in a race, is there a 'device' that can test the characteristics of a motor? (load, torque, RPM, etc)

I too am very curious, i like to play with these att high speeds,. no real races or anything, just tearin it up...

i have been looking into the 3.5, but for torque and speed, which is the more universal motor?

(i have the booster kit) really wanna se how it would work on a two speed chassis

hm this rspec sounds good... but on say a wood floor i can barely control my bit char-a with the stock motor... i can when i get it to go straight but if it spins its hard to get it back without stopping then doin a turn around. how would an rspec motor handle?
