That's a re-wired throttle adjustment button.
It's kinda like "omGz!!1 U GotZ n0s!!!". Just a novelty. |
the nos button replaces the Hi/Lo switch on the controller, in essesnce my car is on LO until i press the button then she goes on HI.. this isnt a novelty because with my setup ill need all the throttle control i can get, im thinking of even doubling up the springs on the throttle trigger.
|
its a novelty, you want throttle controle learn to use the throttle trigger. im not trying to put you down or anything. just my .02$

Again, I think you need to put more effort into learning how to drive, instead of doing things like this. |
grrrr ill admit its a novelty, just looks cool that i press a button and my car speeds up, i wish i knoew how to post vids so u could see the drift vid i made last year, just to prove how good of a driver i am...
on a side note it was the first snow in chicago, SO MUCH FUN!! i kept pullin my E-brake to make my car fishtail all over the place, and didnt even come close to hittin some1 so i guess im a good driver... hope everyone has a good thanks giving, i know that after i eat im off to wire up my car and hopefully have her runnin, wish me luck |

so today i got to working on the cars electronics, re wirred everything and plugged in 1 batterypack (7.2V for testing purposes) and a hugge puff of smoke came out. i looked around and discoverd that 1 set of fets are + and the other set are - and make a nice short when they touch. so for tomm i will make my own board and redo the circuit a lil more professionally. out of curiousity, if i short the fets are they dead? if so i need to get new ones, sign... but otherwise my regulator worked like a charm and the receiver saw 5V... yay

i didnt take the risk, and ordered 2 sets at digikey.. im also gunna used a project board (dunno what its called) and just use the traces to make all the conections and thus simplify my life... i also got to cutting out my paper mockup of the CE chassis im making (i didnt mean CF, it means custom engineering) just gotta check my screwholes and them im safe to find a lightweight aluminum, this works great because it will alow me to truly incoperate my independant rear suspension, ill post pics next weekend :)

did i mention i hate robert byrd??? hes a scam artist, my version of his V2 drive board is 5X more powerful and only cost $15 in parts to make... i laugh at the people who bought that inferior toy for 50 bux.
rob dose stock some useful replacement parts, cept his range repair kit.. the inductors cracked as soon as i applied heat.. cheap peices of junk (sorry zero but i was mad, i fixed it now :)) were a waste of 5 bux... no matter i found the needed inductors in a spare controller... -- note to people, come to me if you need parts rather than giving money to some guy.. theres usualy a free alternative to any givin problem ---with that i was wondering if anyone had the receiver portion of the xmod's e.p. id be willing to trade parts.. got lotsa stuff laying around, hers exactly what i need so email me if interested |
