The metal locknuts (hint: name being LOCKNUT) have a plastic insert that keeps them from backing off.

I would like an opinion or six before I go off and do something that would cost a lot of money to correct. Do you suppose this would work on an Evo?

The disc breaks are meant to go on an evo without any modification. Each evo set should come with 3 of the disc break cups to swap with the ones on each wheel.
