Ok...apparently Bunta does in fact have a WRX...or at least will in 4th Stage (as to whether he has it in previous stages but never shows it...I don't know). From what I'm hearing there's a preview on the net (somewhere...still haven't found it) for 4th Stage where Takumi races Bunta with Takumi in his 86 and Bunta in a smoke grey WRX. Again this is what I've heard from the few people that have supposedly seen the preview but I can't totally confirm this yet as I personally haven't seen the preview...anywho just wanted to post this for those who care. :D

Anywho...so you don't like the new wrx coming out? Style wize I mean. I actually kinda like it, it looks really nice. I agree about hte Lancer though...I like the look of the back end of the EvoVII but not the front...ugh. My personal fave is the Evo VI Zerofighter edition. From what I remember I believe it weighed in at 1300 lbs and put out 340 HP and 303 lbs of torque (zoom zoom huh? LOL...yes yes I know that mazda... :) ). Hafta look it up again. Ok sorry I got off topic as well....couldn't resist... :D :D

Yup, that's what Bunta's driving in 4th stage. A previous gen. grey WRX. Can't remember what the chassis code is though. And now with the extra ugly WRX coming out, I guess that would make it 2 gens ago. Wonder what's up with the Subaru styling department? Not enough oxygen being piped into the design offices? Same goes for Mitsubishi actually. I personally thought the Evo 6 and 6.5 (Makinen Edition) were the nicest looking Evos. from the 3 onward, they just kept making the car look more and more agressive and then the 7 came out. Ech... but I'm headed a little off topic again, sorry:p

Anyway, Bunta beats Takumi proving that he really is as good as he keeps telling Yuichi.

Guess my buddy's lucky to be in Asia at least as far as getting access to stuff like this goes. Gotta get him to send me more stuff!:D Unfortunately, his connection is crap!

oh....now that i've seen the pic of the wrx they used in stage 4, i always thought that the wrx was the recent car in the states with the huge round lights. that car in that little pic i usually call the impreza, like the 2.5 impreza RS they sell here that looks almsot identical to the wrx. i dont' really read up about subaru's cars and their jdm versions and names. guess they call it the wrx over there or something, i dunno. anyway, that act 4 manga, is it the original japanese manga or is it some english translated one that you guys have been reading?

zombie - only the trueno and FD, R32 and R 34 are made into bits...(R34 is in the 4th stage as well, btw...)

Hmmm... server doesn't seem to like me. Aside from dropping in a few later posts before mine in the sequence, the other night, I tried to post another reply and it wouldn't let me! Gave me a message something about users only allowed to post every 30 seconds. That was the first post I'd tried that day!

Anyway Shadowmage, I'm not sure where you might be able to DL it from. As for the WRX, when the first US import came out, I didn't like the changes they'd made with the bug-eye headlights, but I eventully got used to them, and as soon as I did, they come up with even uglier distorted looking headlights. At least in my opinion.

As for the Zero Fighter, it isn't 1300lbs. That'ld be super light! It weighs 1300kgs, which is approx. 2860 lbs. and the JDM spec Zero Fighter had 350 HP. Thing that's kind of odd about the Evos is that the Evo 6.5 Makinen Edition could run 0-60 in 4.1 - 4.4 secs, but the Evo 7 could only do it in 4.9 - 5.1 and the Evo 8 has a hard time breaking 5.0 seconds. The Evo 8's new super AYC is supposedly better than any of the previous gen's rear diffs though.

And TypeZer0, the version he found was in chinese. the manga that is. As for the Subaru's, Subaru Japan had a weird thing about releasing many different official versions of the car. The base Impreza is not even turbocharged but they have the WRX model and the STi and with the previous gens, (before import to the US) I counted at one time, 8 different official Subaru versions of the Impreza being offered at the same time by subaru UK. The base model, the WRX, the STi, the P1, the Richard Burns special, the Type-R 22B and a couple of others I couldn't be bothered to remember, that's why people are sometimes confused about what a WRX is/was. And I think I'm mistaken about Bunta's car. It isn't 2 gens ago, I think it's actually 3.
