Bryan4691 12-09-2002 01:57 PM

I think there are more than enough people for Tiny to get these. Does anyone know if Tiny has seen this thread?

How about it Tiny?

Newbster 12-09-2002 02:49 PM

I Would Love Them

I was looking forward to buying them but from Germany the s/h would be pricey (I've heard around $15.00) I was just about to order the Rally Sports also despite their s/h.

They would go on my:

BigPimpin 12-09-2002 04:32 PM

HOTT!!!!!

cowfish_29 12-09-2002 07:08 PM

depending on the price...i would be happy to buy a set or so, but it would be nice if there were written instructions included with the rims, because whenever i try to do something with wheels i break SOMETHING...

Count me in!

sessiz10 12-09-2002 10:56 PM

Yes pricing is a big factor. I'ld go up to $20 shipped but no more. I think Rims are a must for any bit or zip if the price is right. I would be 1 of the first to order these from tiny.

karlos 12-10-2002 11:13 AM

can we get the bare knuckles as a set all together and do the rims come with the tires? if yes then sign me up for 4 sets.:D :D

This is what comes in each set. 4 rims 4 tires 4 photo etched hubs. Notice in the second pic one of the rims has a nub on it. This goes opposite of the gear in back....

Bryan4691 12-12-2002 06:39 AM

Payaso, how does the hubs connect to the rims? Is this a friction type fit?

actofgod 12-12-2002 11:03 AM

Yeah, baby! Two "rally sport" sets for me!

I've been wanting some wider tires for more traction; plus, the extra weight will help keep a dual-cell car from flipping as much. I was already using some tiny pieces of lead on the bottom of the chassis to weigh the dual-cell car down some.

A package deal that comes with whatever extra axles are needed and maybe some optional bare knuckles would be perfect.

Tweak 12-12-2002 01:58 PM

This is great! I have been looking for a way to get those bicycle tires off my Zipsizer/Microzap. These wider tires would provide the necessary performance criteria for a triple batt mod.

What about the tires? Need to be some ultra soft grippy material. Silicone?

Would slot car rims/tires retro fit?

Sweet I would buy 2 or 3 sets!!

Impreza WR reX 12-12-2002 08:20 PM

Pojo 12-12-2002 08:31 PM

The rims come with tires.

Ovgron 12-12-2002 08:33 PM

im lazy and dont feel like reading everything. Where can you buy those tires and rims? (i dont give a hoot about the hubs though).

Pojo 12-12-2002 08:49 PM

Guh.... www.microsizers.de

Bryan4691 12-16-2002 08:18 AM

Tiny,

Any update on the alloy rims and tires?

ratboycom 12-17-2002 04:50 PM

im down for a couple sets, assembled ones would be nice and i would pay extra for them simply because it would be easier for me a man who is busy

Tch0rT 12-17-2002 05:21 PM

I'd really be interested in a set of rims too. I'm about to order them from the German page but I can't read German and the translator I used didn't like parts of the page. Anyone know where else one could get rims?

It's one of those things that you gotta see for yourself. What did you use to attact the front wheels? And did you paint them and attach the hubs too? Sneak that camera out from under the tree and snap a shot or 5 for us....LOL
Did you get them from the site?

silla

Shypo 12-18-2002 11:54 PM

nah i got them off a member from here. they were already attached with 8:25:1 gearing and the knuckles were done for me, thank you very much. very happy with that. i will take pics on christmas cos thats when i get my camera.
i havent painted them because the look to good in gold, veyr bling bling indeed

shocon2k 12-19-2002 12:03 AM

I got bored of reading all the pages of posts about this, so forgive me if anyone asked this already, but when is tiny supposed to start carrying these, if at all?

Been looking for a way to purchase these

Count me in for 4 sets.

Canadian Bit 12-22-2002 04:11 PM

I really want it, really, really want it. I'll pay up to $20 CDN to have them, and also $5 CDN extra to have them installed. :D I think Tiny RC should sell them. I'd pay $60 CDN to buy a Bit with them already installed.

mcharles13 12-23-2002 11:05 AM

so what's the latest call on this? Will tiny be offering these soon?

Shypo 12-23-2002 06:10 PM
