Hey, what body r u orderin? I thought u already had a white skyline? Well, one reason i dont post any pics up is becasue ill i have right now is a red lancer, no mods or anything. In a few days im going up to get the extra body set, the one with the black skyline and the clear lexan skyline. Then im gonna paint that, then i will post my pics. Wont be for a while thought.

doug, that the new show body?? i like it alot (and im not a fan of the skyline body) only thing i see unfit is the headlights, you should paint em or clean em out for some leds :)

Microman,i did have a white skyline till i painted it red and the hood black.It looked real good till i gave it a new coating,thats when i messed it up.Plus the spoiler broke so im getting a black skyline body and the clear one,im painting that red w/ black hubcaps,tinted windows,light mod,hopefully a duel cell mod,3.8 motor.Im probably going to put all the mods in the black skyline.So what mods were u going to put in ur car?:D

By the way how do u get the hubcaps to be black?:confused:

Thanks Microman for the compliment. Im just trying to get used to the size difference (1/10 to microsizer). Comedian..I found the decals (waterslide) on eBay from a guy name SupraCruza..I think he's a member here. I have to give him props..excellent decals! Oh yeah..Im in Harlem NY.

Yes i was right because i saw those decals on ebay and i thought u got them somewhere else also those cars of urs are cool.so u are going to paint that other car lime green,i think u should because my friend painted his car lime green and it looked awsome!!!!:D

oooohhhhh i see. Im probably gonna try and do a light mod. not sure yet though.

It's Mike, and they're going to get painted. :) That's actually going to be the race body, I'm waiting for my new clear skyline body to come in for show.. I also need some Daishin decals for the Skyline but I can't make any myself. :( With the exceptions of the rims and the spoiler, I'm trying to copy the Daishin track Skyline GT-R. Paint is duplicolor charcoal silver (automotive paint) with a spray of high-gloss clear on top. And I was such a freak I actually waxed it.. :o

Rims are painted black and I left the lip 'chromed', I did whosamawhatchit's intercooler mod, I'll be adding some grill material.. PCB cover is painted black too.

Thanks:) The grills are made from an old stainless steal filter, I masked and air brushed the stripes (first ever attempt so quite pleased) and yes the track is a bear:D

Finally Finished !
 

This is the clear skyline body from my first post. I finally finished (almost) the paint, but not the detailing. Matter of fact..the paint is still wet :rolleyes: but I could'nt wait.

Dang thats tight. It looks like the eclipse in TFATF. It almost looks neon. Thats almost what im going to do with my skyline. Sliver with a black hood and black spoiler.

that's exactly the look i was shooting for (it helps to watch TFATF movie while painting). i still have to do the grill as well as touch up the lights. i originally painted the outside of the car (the hood) and didnt like the outcome. i ended up removing the paint with testors brush cleaner ! turned out fine (i thought it was gonna melt or cloud up).

VERY NICE!!!!!!I WANTED TO PAINT MY CAR THE SAME COLOR!!!:D

it turned out better than i thought (i'm not really into light colors).
it is actually regular green (testors #1124) mixed with some leftover yellow! when u get yours done...post some pics up.

lol yea TFATF is a great movie...i plan to paint my car soon, but i still have to get the body! lol

Cant wait till the tfatf 2 comes out,already know what some of the car looks like and guess what vin diesels not going to be in it instead that singer tyrese,at least i think he's a singer not really a big fan of hip hop or randb.(sorry way off the subject).
