I just got my second DigiQ car today, the NSX-R with lights and no "steering system" and it rocks!! It does go slower in reverse than my Audi TT, but that's actually just fine with me. This one seems to run better than the TT. It seems a little more controllable and the batteries last a lot longer. Hmmm... Maybe I got a bum car in the TT, cause it only lasts about 5 minutes, tops. It does fly like a bionic mouse on Redbull, but dies in half of the time of the NSX. You'd think that with the lights the NSX would run out first. Strange. Anyhew, my TT is very squirly in reverse at full speed, but does not waddle while doing so. It just spins out usually, cause it ends up pulling to the right after about two feet. The NSX does the same pull to the right in reverse, but at the reduced speed, does not spin out. I agree with the argument which says the loose front wheels for the "steering system" combined with the toe-in (but out in rev) make those cars waddle in reverse.
