Hey Squishy,
I just bought one of the new Motorworks cars. I was lookig at the front end and it doesn't have a suspension bar. It seems like the steering knuckles have like a little flange on the shaft. You could probably shave off the flange so that the knuckle shaft travels up and down. You could either leave it fully lowered or put some springs in it.

could you show me in a pic? I dont really get what you mean by flange..
