They have the parts...but where do they get the wheels and tires from...and the actual trucks....where do you get the trucks to start with?

Those are cool little cars. I think I might have seen one smaller than them though. The car was a Mercedes Smart car and you can fit 3 of them into a normal sized matchbox! I will try and find the link. There is a video of it aswell but it is really poor quality, but it shows you the kind of speed and manouverability it has.

OMG, those look great.. I mean the little ones, not the tabletops. I think someone needs to tell the wonders of BC-G to those guys over at the traxxas forum. they are starting to get googly over those damn bullets

The Trucks are normal plastic models.

1/87 scale plastic models? hmmm... I think they might be Herpa Trucks...with heavy mods....www.herpa.de

A lot of them are models... they are from ROCO and other companies that make HO scale models for railroad sets

I'm in contact with one of the guys in Germany now looking fo rinformation... his company make a lot of the parts for the 1/87 scale trucks....most of those guys are fabricating their own parts...

There are some speed controls made from the amp board of a small servo... and the receivers are just micro receiver used in slowflyer planes... the motors are Mabuchi M20s and smaller...and they fabricate their own gears and gearboxes..but the guy I'm talking to makes some amazing brass fron axle assemblies
