this has got to be a joke.

Go to this site if you plan to build it.

or something like that.

lol.. sorry to burst your bubble.. but JUST how r u planning on puttin gthe air tank.. the fuel cell and the engine under a body w/o modifying it. it wont happen.. also RC fuel already used nitro in the mix.. i run 20% in my rc10 gt

Time to end this...

They do make Wankel/rotary engines for model RC airplane use, but they are very large compared to our Bits. They cost several HUNDRED dollars!

To shrink them to Bit size, while not impossible, would cost thousands of dollars in engineering & equipment alone. The resulting micro rotary engines would retail for thousands of dollars also...

I am not trying to hurt the feelings of a 13 yr old, but this has to be said. I would be really interested in an internal combustion engine that small too.

Just laying out the facts :(

Good god, THANK YOU John. I was waiting for the joke to end. Yes, it would be very cool, but come on!!! And if you couldn't tell dude, Jeis was joking.

I can't tell if this guy is serious or not, but I sincerely hope, for the sake of his own dignity, that he's kidding.

Putting a gas engine in a bit is not only inefficient, unreliable, expensive and heavy, but also completely counter productive.

You're telling us you want to spend $30 for one of the smallest gas engines in the world and a new technology (micro rotary) and to be prefitted to a $30 toy car!?

Hey, while we're at it, lets give it 3 differentials to handle the AWD and a sequential twin turbo to eliminate turbo lag. And then we can make it larger, like maybe 12 or so feet long, and then oh yeah we can sell it for $35000 and call it a CAR.

shocon2k, with no seats?

Shypo 01-07-2003 07:23 AM

wheres the factory options???
i dont want it if it duznt have sum cool factory options

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1:D :D :D ;) ;) ;)

Actualy I hope it works! Compared to a battery would have alot more power to do stuff.

Shortly this concept will be around since battries are about at there limits and be nice to work on cutting edge stuff.

Go for a truck or bus instead of a car. More room inside. :)

Saw at Frys a science kit for a Fuel cell car. Could cut that down and leave the current motor drive train in place on the bit. Just feed voltage.

The other way is about 100 years old but would be very interting to try. Tesler had a concept of broadcast power. Pie in sky but would be intersting if that would work.

One other way is to build a flywheel bases. Fast to charge and may give enough umph to drive around.

Good luck on your research! Really hope you make it! :)

Racer9 01-07-2003 04:35 PM

I might try it. You may think I'm crazy but I WANT POWER!!!!!!! HAAA! HAAA! HAAA!:D :D :D
