Hello again. Does this disc-damper work on both RM as well as MM? As I'm getting the Subaru WRX this week, I believe it is RM and I'd like to know if this will work on that as well.
Would like to get two of these if their worth while.

I fit one to a RM 917 and it worked other than body clearance. One issue I have had though is the little plastic piece that sandwiches the chassis tab with the damper plate (c-shaped part that goes underneth the tab) sttrips out easily. The screws are too short, the holes too big and the plastic too soft. All those running the DDS here at Mooresville have fit longer-larger screws.

Thank's for the info. It sounds like it'll be more suited for my Subaru which SHOULD have more room for it than my Murcielago. Also, thank's for the tip on the screws.
The 917 I think is the SMALLEST body and probably the flattest one as well, so I'm sure it's NOT suitable for the disc damper.

I ordered some Dnano stuff from EGR Mart. Finally getting my starter kit with extra batteries, aluminum upgrades for the Countach, and a disc-damper for the Murcielago. I am curious as to how this will work in conjunction with an already fully hopped-up Murcielago. I wonder if it'll fit the Porsche as well. I will try it out on both.
I have the feeling that the Countach is much too thin of a body for the disc-damper to work on that car, but the Porsche 911 look's to have enough room.
I'll try it on both cars and if it works well enough, I'll get another kit.
Thanks for the info on that hole being large. I was thinking of using heat-shrink tubing on that post.

damper fits comfortably on the 911 but doesn't make that much of a handling difference. the atomic damper won't fit on any of the flat bodies and takes up way more space than it should... one of our members installed one last week. i keep less than 2 in stock due its low "workability" factor.

I wouldn't run any of my cars without the dampener plate no matter how much I had to modify the body. I know some of you don't want to mod the body but I'm way more into the performance than the look of the body.

IMO it makes a huge difference in the handling of the car

no, you can use the damper on the 911 with no body mods. fits perfectly ;-)

I like it on the Murcielago, but it too requires a hole to be cut for the top.
I don't think it'll fit the Countach at all, but I plan on putting one on both Porsche and Subaru.

i believe it should... i'm supposed to be building a Race Spec Audi R8 for a customer here soon so get at me by e-mail for definite confirmation... the X-Power damper is actually better and slightly less expensive & has a cool led light ;)
