It would be nice to have pinions that can be changed without a special puller tool. I think that is a most welcome feature. Those larger bearings would make a bigger difference over the bushings.

XMODS Deal
1 Attachment(s)
Hey, I just got this coupon in my XMODS newsletter. It’s a pretty good deal. You can get a starter kit and a matching body kit for $35, they’re usually about $50.
You print it out and take it in the store. You’ll have to get on it tho cuz the offer ends Sept. 14. |
$35 not bad.
SHIFT_DRIFT Where can I find more info on that awd mini-z? Is there going to be a new monster to? |

http://mini-zracer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19184 Here's the thread on Mini ZRacer on the new AWD Mini Z. No there is no AWD Monster as far as I can tell, it's just a racer chassis. I added a second link to the news page on the AWD Mini Z for those interested. |
so do we know if the new xmods will be worth waiting for before getting into xmods?

I figured what the heck, this link is to a thread on Mini ZRacer about these new Xmods. I for one like the new chassis. I figured the least I can do from all the Mini Z links I put up.I also figure that the AWD Mini Z would cost quite a lot compared to the new Xmods Evo sets. |

The $35 coupon technically applies to ALL XMods starter kits.
A few have gotten the Gen3 with matching body kit for $35 on Direct2u. But it seems that now, on the RS computer, they are 'out of stock'. I guess they don't want people buying them. Quote:
I somehow thought they had a similar layout. With a 130 size motor placed in the middle-front for the servo. |

HammerZ Thanks for the link. That mini-z might be a little expensive Ill probably will go with the new xmod and throw in some hobby grade electronics (since there seems to be plenty of room). |
