candy apple red needs a silver, gold, copper, white, orange, or chrome base coat. y the hell would u do a red base coat?

skklown is right..candy means u can see though it....and it is hard to see red though red
the point of candy is to see another color though it...and gold is on of the best colors for that
and since this is the gallery i will include a pic of the work in progress...i dont mean to copy you skklown but i am also doing candy later

thing is i used the pic that i used here

if i were you i would put some more candy coats on at least. it may just be because of how bright the flash is but the light seems to make it look thin. the red base makes the candy not as dramatic it makes it look deep all the candy ive seen done had the same color base and candy.

i tried to enter my 350z and they rejected also. I send them an e-mail calling them STUPID for not knowing their own products.

the flash might have something to do with it. i used about 6 coats of spray, and thats more than i usually use

That spoiler in the bodykit looks like the lancer-evolution spoiler... or am i on crack?

btw update pic...my candy project...but i running out of paint...gotto go to my lhs
to make it look this way...it requires 2 coats of candy...then 3 clear coats...

my entry went through also. but not till i had to e-mail the moderater and call him stupid for not knowing products that his corporation is putting out:D

i dont like the body kit yuck. just like i dont like the supra body kit. yuck. radioshack should have made the 350z the new version for racing (jrtc?) it is longer and much better looking.
