Nope, super perfections have a 120mah battery and a 3.5 motor.
Also ION just so you know, this thread relates only to single speed bits. So in terms of handling, the suspension in char-g's will increase the steering radius but will cause the car to flip over on most surfaces. |

I would rather have a bit that is turning too tight and flipping, than have a bit that turns wide and is constantly on the walls. It is much easier to make a bit turn wider than it is to make a MW turn tighter. |
I disagree. All I did was switch to wider tires and it doesn't flip over even at top speed, so no it was not a lot of work. This thread was not meant to diss your preference of toys. I just believe that the Motorworks is a good deal especially for many people that can't afford Tomy's.
Obviously, Tomy has a much better quality bit and is the preferred brand if money is no object. You can make a blind quality comparison just by looking at the price of the bit. |
Also in terms of the car that "is constantly on the wall," you know that when you make turns you don't have to keep the throttle on all the time. With the MW, I can make tighter turns faster than a 2-speed car just by tapping the throttle around corners.
If you have a car flip everytime you make a turn, what good is having an r/c car that can only drive forwards and backwards? You can easily have your Tomy super bit drift slightly by changing out the wheels. Then at least the performance of the car on a track will be based more on the user than the capabilities and weight distribution of the car. This is a must if you race against your snotty coworkers after work. Anyway, once you optimize your turning radius, it will be no different then how I set up my MW (for dual celled cars). When I get that Tomy Enzo super bit, I'll play with the wheels until I get the same stability as my MW. |
super perfections arent exactly single speen....the have a boost button...

Didn't hear mention of the Shen Qi Wei or Rally Racer ????
The best out-the-box (bullet) clone out there today period! |
Nope, the MW will beat the shen qi wei's out of the box. They don't have the blue gears or the 4.2 Pro motor. I've tested them also (I listed them under Walgreen's clone). At least I think that's where my friend bought them. I've never tried the Rally Racers. Are they faster than the shen's? If not, I believe the MW is still the fastest out-the-box. I got my proof by directly racing all the cars I've listed on the same track with good surface grip. Have you tried a Motorworks, DarkTari?
This thread is more about the finding the best combination of low price, car quality and accessories. |

SuPer Bit char-G! They are better than motorworks and have nicer changeable rims. They are superior in every way, but range. |
Motorworks Update
Heck, yes i've been searching for someone who agrees with the fact that the motorworksd are the best (and yes i know it's a really old thread but that's ok) out-of-the-box r/c car ever! To bad as of today they don't sell them in Utah wal-mart's anymore :( . I'd like to know what body's anyone has. I've got the Camo Humvee. It's sweet.
