You don't understand, it was sticking up at an angle like a giant spoiler. The bottom was on the floor against the front seats and was sticking up about 45degrees. It stuck up 2 feet past the the roof height of my tracker.
What's with the ZZ's sliding and rolling over around corners. Ours dont. But I'm running the NOS motor (mine's yellow, thought someone said orange) with the low-blue gears, my GF running the turbo with red gears. according to the ZZ site hers is faster, but I pass her out of the corners. My track is kinda short though 21-23' lap. |
I got ma pic. I had to rob batteries from my cordless for my camera.

OUCH....
$7 for the tiles? I built my track for less than $10 total.
The hardboard I used was $5.25 as it was damaged on the one side. Guy at Lowes discounted it for me. I then spent about another $5 on the rubber tubing from the plumbing aisle. I had all the paint that I used. The tracks are not expensive to build, just time consuming, but hey, thats half the fun anyway!!!! :D |
where I race
Yeah, Latency, your track DOES rock! I would do something simular, but I live in an apartment complex, and the pool table is in the club-house. Dont want to be lugging a track back and forth that far. Although, a cool thing about the clubhouse....they have racket-ball courts!!!! My roommate and I took our Zips there, and that is a great surface to play on!!! Next time, gonna bring the rally cones and barrels, and maybe I'll get the barrier race set too. No worry about stray frequencies. We both had good range in the court. Only thing, its not open later hours:( Ah well, guess its back to my tiny kitchen floor then!
