yes, that's what heatsinks are designed to do , that's all they do nothing more nothing less.

Why do you think they call it a "heat sink" if it wasnt suppose to be used to gather heat. And why do you think that a mulit-million dollar corporation (RS) would be stupid enough to add something to their product that would just screw it up?

A radiator is nothing like the heat sink that come with RS motors.

The principal is the same....They both have fins of metal on them to disapate the heat that they collect. The heat sync on the xmod collects heat from the moter directly, A radiator collects heat from the water which is the conductor of the heat and then the fins, as well as the ones from the xmod disipates the heat acordingly. The aluminum foil does not work....... OHHHHHH never mind....some peoples children. AARRRGGGGHHHHH

dude, newbitowner, you are the most retarted perosn in this forum! the shell of the computer isn't the heat sink...open up the computer and look for somethig that is metal with metal fins on it...thats the heatsink. The reason the heat sink is hot is becvuase it is taking the heat away from the motor. That piece is supposed to be hot if its doing its job. the heatsink is hot so other parts aren't...do a little research before you start making post thinking you know stuff.
