Here's my advice to the original poster: if the product was defective, take it back. Better yet, take it in with the part number of the replacement part you need and ask for it politely. Remember to take in your receipt and a copy of the warranty.
But if ya broke it, buy the parts to fix it yourself and stop trying to scam the company.

Unfortunately, a majority of the youngster crowd does not yet have the ability or life experience to see how their actions can contribute to the failure of a complex system.

"I was just driving it down the street and the chassis broke in two, the front of the body crumpled and the front suspension was destroyed." Yeah, that's real likely.

"I only wrecked it about 20 times and then the front bumper hanger broke. This thing is a piece of crap." Yeah, sounds like crap to me.

"I didn't wreck or anything and the motor mount shattered." And then you hear his friend in the background say "Dude, you hit a brick wall at Wide Open Throttle."


People that work support for RC companies hear so much BS from people day to day that they'll usually bend over backwards to help someone with a legitimate problem. Even if they are honest about a problem they caused themselves. Be straight with the RS rep; s/he just might reward you. And it's the right thing to do anyway.
