I would definitely like to have 4wd and off-road suspension to make rally cars!

This, to me, could really set RS apart from the others more than anything else.

I would bet %75 or more of current micro RC owners would jump all over a solid 1:64 (or even 1:43) off-road line that is easy to obtain, and has a good variety of parts.

4WD? I would say a motor up front and one in the back, but then that screws with the new ZZ steering setups (not enough space in that size of a chasis) and battery life becomes a serious issue.

My new prejudice would want me to lean towards a SuperSlicks off-road line, as I think 1:43 lends itself to better off-road potential (with shocks, and another motor up front, along with increased battery).

It would be very hard to do a good off-road line in 1:64, but I wish they'd try.

Nope RS didn't screw up at all, They banked on Zip Zaps one year, then the next year they banked on Xmods, while still selling Zip Zaps. They made money, and that's what they're in business to do.

...and I know there is more than one person out there that has bought an Xmod, and a SE in the last year. I know they got over a $100 in XMOD parts from me, and three SEs. That's a lot more money than they would have made off of me if they only offered the $20 Zip Zap, and a few $5-$10 parts.
